Manikarana Cafe — Restaurant in Karnataka

Worst experience- Our experience at Manikarana was deeply disappointing. During our dine-in, a staff member we call him uncle ( as we dont know his name) restricted us from having drinks even though they were available. We were also discouraged from arranging a bonfire, despite not receiving a clear yes or no when we offered to set it up ourselves by the seaside next to their property.

Later, when we did organize a small bonfire independently, another staff member approached us with an inappropriate comment about our food choices, implying they were not “agreeable” for our stomachs. This felt intrusive and disrespectful.

Terrible experience with the woman working here. I ordered a lemon water and she brought me a terrible warm glass of salty water with almost no lemon in it. I asked for another one explaining that it was hot and I didn't trust the water and she brought me the exact same thing. We asked for non-spicy food and she brought us inedible food with big pieces of chili pepper in it. She had been rude with us the whole time and stared at us during the whole lunch.

Situated on Om this the brightly coloured shack. The main USP of this place is the fantastic location overlooking the green clear waters. The sea in this side can get a little rough, so do take care while swimming. Needless to say lifeguards and policemen patrol this space and whistle at regualar intervals to caution folks.
