Muniraju Military Hotel — Restaurant in Karnataka

There are only few Places in this locality which serve good food with taste and quality.Out of those this is also the one on top ranks. Usually go always with mutton biryani when I visit here,as I love the taste of authentic Nati style and which means it. Ambience wise it looks very old food mess kind with brick roof tiles.. Cannot expect fancy lights and Posh ambience.Categorically its a Sit and eat restaurant.Just got to focus on taste.

The Mutton biryani(Pulav) was having aroma of coriander and the spices blended into it.

Mutton was properly cooked and felt like butter melting on mouth. For a heavy eaters,there is no issue of half emptied stomach after eating.Quantity of meat and rice justifies along with taste.

For little /medium eaters,you could take a plate and share.

Apart from main dish,Raitha was bit watery with only few chunks of cucumber,carrot found..Not of thick consistency.could improve on this factor.

In the end of meal,spicy rasam was given which enhanced the memory of tastebuds.

Till the end of day ,I could smell the Biryani on my fingers even with multiple soap washes✴️✴️

A satisfying...

Went here with friends on a weekend for lunch and the food was not bad at all. Above average in some things and average in some. We reached a bit late for lunch and they'd run out of Biryani, but had almost all the mutton items. We ordered a bunch of items like mutton fry, thale mamsa, boti fry, chicken fry, ragi mudde etc. I can rate the food 7/10. The masalas they use is quite mild and not at all spicy, whereas I believe, a little spice wouldn't hurt. All the items were good but I felt some thing was amiss. I believe it was because all the mutton dishes had almost the same flavours and same masala. So it was a bit monotonous, in spite of ordering multiple dishes, we could taste the same flavours. The place has no real admirable ambience. Its just a super old house with narrow aisles between old squeaky tables, but I have no complaints about it. Service was exceptional, they took good care of us. I would recommend giving it a try. I'd definitely go back, but...

As the time was mentioned as 9AM reached there by 940 after confirming in call that Biryani will be ready at 10 . Staff kept telling food will be ready by 5 mins 10 mins half and hour didn’t get the food even at 1130, please tell your customers the right time when the food will be ready and in middle although was Biryani was ready gave away parcels first rather that giving at the table . Hugely disappointed with the service . Not a clean place , old establishments like this need to step up their cleanliness game in these times even though they would want to give the old Bangalore feels cleanliness should be a priority . Food tastes really good and I have no complaints...
