Without any expectations we family of 4 went for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised with menu they have. It’s a pure veg restaurant so that was an advantage for us. This place serves multi cuisine food. From Burmese khao sue to pasta and pizza. We ordered for: Masala Papad: 4/5 Gobhi Manchurian:10/5☺️ Popeye cheese balls:3/5 Daal and Rice combo with one starter. And we chose kashk e kebab: 2/5 Zucchini white sauce pasta:2/5- had only milk flavor in the sauce. Seasoning was very less. Burmese Khao sue: surprisingly good. 7/5 Nawabi Biriyani:10/5 Virgin mojito:5/5 Water melon mojito:5/5
Food was on time except Biriyani. It took almost 45 mins to arrive but taste was so good we ignored the waiting. Items were freshly made and delicious. Initially the guy who was assisting us seemed bit un friendly. But later they were very polite and even they gave us ice cream as complementary. At the end of our lunch they gave pan shot which is next level tasty. They should add that to beverage list.food quality is good, but portions are small for the price. Over all I had a very good lunch and my family also loved it. For a place like hubli this place has exceeded my...
Read moreQuantity 2/5....Taste 3/5....Quality 3.5/5 I always give genuine a bit of a lengthy review so that people can get a clear picture
The food quality is decent, although the portions are quite inadequate. Regardless of what you order, it's insufficient even for two people.
If I had to rate quantity specifically than Starters' quantity: 2/5 Subzi gravy quantity: 2/5 Rice dishes quantity: 3/5
If you're considering visiting cool restaurants, you can prefer Dennison, President, or even Hans, which offer better taste at just a slightly higher price of 15-20 rupees compared to Rarus.
The pasta/spaghetti in white sauce lacked cheesiness and had a milky taste; the burnt flavor was notably absent. The Nawabi biryani, however, stands out with its authentic taste and is highly recommended.
Be cautious with desserts, as they may not meet expectations. The salads are good, but they might not appeal to typical indian

Read moreI recently dined at Rarus Restaurant and, unfortunately, the overall experience left much to be desired. The food, including the Kunafa, Nawabi Biryani, Carocate Soup, and Tamaya Kabab, fell short of expectations. The Carocate Soup was passable, but the Tamaya Kabab and Biryani were disappointing – the kabab lacked flavor, and the biryani was overly oily. The Kunafa, in particular, was a letdown, as it tasted really bad.
On a brighter note, the service was acceptable, though a bit slow. The staff seemed courteous, but the delayed service did affect the overall enjoyment of the meal. The ambience was decent, providing a comfortable setting for the dining experience.
In summary, Rarus Restaurant offers a mixed experience – with room for improvement in the culinary department and a need for more prompt service. While the ambience is pleasant, I hope the restaurant addresses the issues to enhance the overall dining experience for...
