Disappointing Experience at Premium Prices**

Ruchi Mane Restaurant in Mysore boasts a convenient location at the end of the Bangalore-Mysore Expressway, making it a tempting stop for travelers entering the city. However, the experience leaves much to be desired, especially given the premium pricing that fails to justify the ambiance or taste.

The restaurant does have some positives, such as comfortable seating, clean floors, and ample parking. These factors contribute to initial impressions of a well-maintained establishment. Unfortunately, the experience quickly declines from there.

The washrooms were not up to standard, requiring better upkeep for a place positioning itself as premium. The wide-spread menu seemed promising, but the execution fell short. The Mini Tiffin priced at ₹180 was overpriced and underwhelming, with cold items and no inclusion of tea or coffee. The Poori Sagu, another dish we tried, was overly salty, making it difficult to enjoy. Overall, the meal felt like a waste of money.

The restaurant’s refusal to accept credit or debit cards reflects poor management practices. In this day and age, a cash-only or UPI-only policy is inconvenient and unprofessional, particularly for a place claiming to offer a premium dining experience. This lack of modern facilities underscores the management’s inexperience in running a high-end restaurant.

By the end of our visit, we were left feeling that a roadside eatery would have been a better choice. Despite its ideal location and some positive aspects, Ruchi Mane fails to deliver on its promises of quality or value for money. I dont know how to thank Ms. Kavya hotel staff of Ruchi mane Srirangapatnaa. We had left our mobile in hotel and returned to bangalore. After coming to blore we realised we dont have our mobile in bag. Immediately called the same number. A lady named kavya picked the call and responded soooo well. She assured tat our mobile is in safe hands and promised to return the mobile. If it was somebody else they wud have easily removed the sim and kept the mobile for themselves. But this lady responded so well. The next day our driver again headed to srirangapatna for other work and Ms. Kavya returned the mobile to him. Im soo glad and really appreciate her commitment. This was my fathers mobile purchased in dec 2023 with lot of love and he passed away in feb 2024. There were lot of memories in this and more over this was my fathers mobile. The food was tasty. 13 dined here in this restaurant and we were satisfied. There was a delay in getting the food. We had to wait for many minutes before we got our food. The taste is satisfactory but there was a rubber band in the sambar bowl! Imagine if we ate it. It would cause a lot of internal problems! It could tangle up in the stomach! Very disappointing. They should be more careful. The kitchen does not seem to be hygiene. There was a lot of spiderwebs, algae, and stuff. Being healthy is very important. We drank tea and coffee. It was yummy.
