Saffron Vegetarian Cuisine — Restaurant in Karnataka

This was suggested by my friend. The food was really tasty. Went there for my birthday, and i had taken cake along with me. Surprisingly while i was cutting the vake with family, they played "happy birthday" song. Appreciate their gesture.

Coming to the food, we had a mushroom starter and it was good. I usually dont like mushroom but this was irresistible. Platter (consisting of 2 varieties of paneer, babycorn and some kabab like starters) was good, just the baby corn was a little hard. Manchow and jade soup were good. Had taken kofta and ghee rice for main course and it was nice too. Rotis and nan were good, not very rubbery. Sizzling brownie for dessert.

The restaurant ambience was pleasant with soft music in the background. The staff are courteous and provided good suggestions. We were so hungry that i couldn't take any pics. Only the dessert i could post😀

Masala Papad: Couldn’t comment. Russian Salad: 3.5 – The mayo was on the sweeter side. Nachos with Corn and Olives: 3.5 – The chips were oily and crunchy. They didn’t taste bad, but you could see the oil on them. The salsa dip was amazing though. Babycorn Sichuan: 3 – Very salty. Burnt Chilli Garlic Rice: 2.5 – It was just spicy with loads of chilli flakes. The rice was sticky and overall lacked flavor beyond the heat. Lassi: -1 – Not recommended. The lassi itself was okay, but the tutti-frutti in it spoiled the experience. They seemed stocked up and not fresh, with a bad odor that ruined the drink. Fresh Lime Soda: 5 – Can’t go wrong here.

Nice place to eat delicious vegetarian food !! Thanks Google for showing such a nic spot . Right from guidance for car parking, hospitality is incredible as place is on a Crowded road. Very decent taste of punjabi dishes. Water is served in a transparent jar which is having small plant of pudina. Water was flavouring with pudina which will help in digestion in fooding process only. What an innovative idea!!! Tandur items were also very tasty. Butter milk was different ly flavouring and remembering you that you are in belgaum- place rich in milk and love. Dum biryani was also delicious and taste lingering on your tongue. Lastly but not least we tried sizzling brownie. It was awesome and unforgettable taste!!
