Today I am very depressed. So the food was ok, but the kind of behaviour the serving girl has is the worst. They are throwing the chappathi on the plate and asking for extra chappathi is like we have done something wrong on earth. In the beginning they only said they will give unlimited food and they are not giving food properly, the price was 200 not much but the place is also very small. Kindly eat somewhere else or better to starve on that but don't eat here, if u think your money is hard earned. Don't waste it on these rude insensitive people. Customers are like god in jains but they are treating us like animals, we treat animal better than this My words are not to defame anyone but I'm expressing the feel I had today after eating here At last I'm forgiving them( uttam kshama). Jai jinendra 🙏 I'm editing this now from here. I just forgot to add one thing, one person came, when we were about to enter the scam center(if I say bhojnalaya, it will be insulting the meaning of bhojanalay), he was asking just one chapathi for his child as other food center was off, but these guys said u have to purchase 200 rupee thali otherwise go. I feel too bad every time I remember that incident. Guys there is a saying spend your money on the welfare of the society, but if u are earning after doing hard work please don't spend your valuable money on these...
Read moreAlert : This 'Bhojnalaya' is a big scam run by the old lady (the MasterChef) and son(the MasterMind). The son's duty is to get bakras(scapegoats) onboard and the old lady, unskilled at cooking, serves you the worst food you would ever have in your life. One of his daughters' permanent job is to stand in a fixed place and roll chapatis which she excels at. The younger one is forced into child labour and is bound to eat the bland food. I have lost faith in Google reviews after seeing 4 star average rating of this Bhojnalaya. I wonder how did the duo serve differently to those who gave 5 star rating to them! They serve stale and diluted curries and charge ₹180 for a thali which is not even worth ₹10. The loot is rampant in the name of Jain thali and there is no value for money. They have uploaded videos of foreigners eating food in their Bhojnalaya where the foreigners are pretending to enjoy the food but deep inside they have vowed never to come back to India. I feel pity for these foreigners not because they are charged around ₹450 for each thali but their whole experience of visiting Sharavanabelagola got ruined. The so-called Bhojnalaya is their house which they convert to restaurant in the daytime and there is a toilet next to...
Read moreDon't visit this ever. This experience is latest, just 2 days ago. I have visited Shravana belagola many times, but i used to always eat in the Muth. This time i thought of trying some other place as i felt the food quality in Muth is not that great. This bhojanshala is worst than the Muth and highly expensive, 170 rupees for tasteless dal roti and sabzi. And the behaviour of those people was so rude. They have made their kids also behave like them. They serve the food in such a bad way. I never had such a bad experience in any restaurant even and this is supposed to be a jain bhojanshala. I suggest that you go to a restaurant nearby or have the food at the Muth, they serve you better. You can also plan to have it on the highway restaurants, many options. I can't stop writing as i was so furious on them. Please let me know if you want...
