Suvarna Gate Restaurant is B M Road, Hassan. Famous for Both Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian food. It's a Bar and Restaurant. Can take the family for Dinner. Good House Keeping and ambience.

We had ordered Mushroom Pepper Dry, Pomfret Tava Fry , Green Salad and Tandoori chicken. We had ordered Biryani Rice for the main course.

Pomfret Tava Fry was excellent and well marinated and prepared. Mushroom Pepper Dry was good, it was crispy, Garlic and Curry leaves were added after frying in oil. It's added extra taste due to the crispiness of garlic and Curry leaves, along with spices used in it. This is the first time I tasted Mushroom Pepper Dry with garlic and Curry leaves.

Tandoori chicken was OK, with good marination and barbecue. The decoration was good with a small lamp enveloped in Vegetable carving , again this is the first time I saw served with a lamp . Good innovation by Chef . Green salad volume is big, order if you are more than 4 persons

Service is OK, attention to the customer to be improved. Need to advise on portion size , to avoid wasting food.

When we went, there was nobody in the restaurant even at 7:30pm in the night. Bcoz we were on the way back to Bangalore and everyone was starving, our friends decided to give a stop and have food there. We ordered veg and non veg they said they would prepare food freshly and serve but they brought food in 2min and we started eating it and we felt something is not correct, the food was spoiled and it was smelling very bad. We did speak to manger of that restaurant about the food but he wasn’t ready to listen to us instead he did charge for spoiled food. I would tell people not to go to that restaurant and spoil their health paying somuch money that spoiled food. I would have rated in minus if there was an option given by google however, I...

One of the age old good restaurant in Hassan city.

Serving vide variety of food items with good taste and quantities. Recent visit I had seen staffs who were taking an order were arguing with customers regarding delayed order. I have not seen restaurant staffs arguing like this even when it had fullly occupied. They need to educate their staffs about their behavior otherwise it would definitely affects customer interests.

Other than this I had not seen any problem in occasional dining here with friends meet up and family dining.
