Restaurant Review: Sigdi Veg - A Culinary Delight for Vegetarians
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sigdi Veg, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience for any vegetarian food lover. The restaurant's cozy ambiance and attentive staff set the perfect tone for a delightful evening.
Mocktail: To kick off the meal, I tried their Strawberry Mojito, and it was a refreshing blend of sweet strawberries and tangy lime. The perfect non-alcoholic beverage to whet your appetite.
Soup: The Popcorn Soup was a unique and delicious surprise. Creamy and flavorful, with a subtle crunch of popcorn, it was a comforting start to the meal.
Starters: Sigdi Veg boasts an extensive range of starters. The Soya Roasted Garlic Mushroom and Paneer Banjara Tikka were personal favorites. The mushrooms were perfectly seasoned, and the paneer tikka had a smoky and rich taste that was simply irresistible. The Aloo Tikka and BBQ Grilled Anas Lemon Mint Corn on the Cob were equally delightful, leaving my taste buds craving for more. The Jalapeno Cheese Poppers and Raw Banana Kebab offered a spicy and tangy twist to the starters. Dahi Ki Sholey was a unique take on the classic yogurt-based dish, and the Golden Fried Crispy Corn and Baby Corn Chilly Cheese added a perfect fusion touch to the assortment.
Salad: The salad selection was impressive, and I enjoyed the Vec Pickled Salad and Green Salad for their freshness and crispness. The Peanut Chat Soondhi Raitha and Mix Veg Raitha provided a burst of flavors, and the Buttermilk was a cooling accompaniment.
Pani Puri Happy (Friendship Day): The Pani Puri served with a special twist for Friendship Day was a fun and interactive way to enjoy the classic street food.
Main Course: Moving on to the main course, Sigdi Veg had an array of choices to please every palate. The Paneer Papdi Ka Masala and Veg Kofta Curry were rich and creamy, while the Nawabi Dal offered a comforting lentil dish. The Gobi Manchurian Gravy provided a flavorful Indo-Chinese fusion option. The Veg Coconut Dum Biryani was fragrant and full of spices, making it a standout dish. The Masala Peanut Noodles offered a unique twist to the usual noodles, and the plain rice and Rasam provided a satisfying South Indian option. The assorted bread and Curd Rice rounded off the main course selection perfectly.
Dessert: Save some space for dessert because the offerings at Sigdi Veg are exceptional. The Ancoori Gulab Jamoon, Halwa, Cut Fruits, Ice Cream, and Pastry were all delightful sweet treats. However, the Moon Champak Special Dessert (Trifle Cream Caramel) and Sooji Burfi Sitapal Basundi stole the show with their innovative flavors and creamy textures.
The attentive service and the thoughtfully crafted menu at Sigdi Veg made for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a vegetarian or simply looking to explore meatless delights, this restaurant offers a diverse selection that will satisfy every taste bud. Sigdi Veg is a haven for vegetarian food lovers, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a delectable and wholesome...
Read moreActually people will tell veg BBQ is not worth eating for the amount we pay.... But here in " The Sigdi Veg BBQ" it is not the case, here is my detailed review on the restaurant.
Here they will provide us with 5 phase
Welcome drink with soup
The "welcome drinks" quantity is less but it is the correct quantity which they are giving because we can't fill the stomach with such welcome drinks right... 😅😅 Next, the "soup" here they will give some green chilli soup which is different from other traditional manchow soups, the soup is too good....
Starters on the grill.
a. Mushroom (green chilli) b. Potato (green chilli) c. Panner ( honey chilli ) d. Pineapple (honey chilli) e. Corn (salty and spicy)
The starters on the grill are so good.... They were fried well and the honey chilli starters are good to taste. I like the mushroom here and panner as well...
The on the grill starters are too good and far better than Barbeque Nation.
Off the grill starters - there are 5 items which they will serve, in that honey chilli veg starter is too good and definitely u will ask for second time, one more off the grill starter is "crispy corn" this is also too good and must and should try, definitely ask for it. The off the grill starters are better than "barbeque nation".
Snacks:
Here it consists of panipuri, green salad, hiney chilli salad, butter mulk and curd rice...
The snacks are not much to discuss about since they are limited in items.
The "white sauce" pasta is a special mention here, but we need to ask for that or else u will definitely gonna miss that.....
The snacks are worth in Barbique Nation more than here...
Main course:
a. Bread b. Soup (same as welcome soup) c. Panner makhan curry d. One green colour desi curry e. Dal f. Biriyani g. Garlic sauce h. Noodles i. Butter naan and butter roti
The main course is good and had a decent taste. The dough items (butter nann, bread and butter roti) were perfect.
The currys are also good and the one curry (d) is the one which i personally liked....
The biriyani is not much to talk about....
The noodles with garlic is Sauce is also tooo good.....
Deserts:
a. Gulab jamun b. Gajar halwa c. Vanilla and straw berry ice cream
The deserts here have limited choices... But good in taste and quality...
Pros:
Better price Better quality Better taste Good Ambience Nice maintanence Good management
Cons:
Still need to be bit spacious Limited no.of items in snacks and deserts.
People who are veg and trying to get an experience of the Barbeque, then this is the right place for them. 🤩
People who like "honey chilli" they will definitely love the items here 🤩
For Veg BBQ instead of "Barbeque Nation" i feel this is the right place to go, both in terms of price and taste... ✌️✌️
Note: The above mentioned detailed review is written from what i have experienced.

Read moreYesterday we visited this place with my family and 1st thing we observed is the clean and neat environment and also great ambience. I would like to divide this review in 3 parts hope u read it fully(The Sigdi owner's specially).
Note- Ground floor is the area where serving will be done and in 1st floor there is self service though the items remain same. And we were on ground floor FOOD WE TOOK WAS MINI BARBEQUE
Service - Speed of service has to improve and also they should at least have the knowledge of local language. Also I must tell that servers are really helpful.
Food taste - starters were really tasty and in main dishes palak paneer and veg kurma taste's good but the rice which I don't know the name was not good (2/5 for that). Finally all favorites dessert as usual taste's yummy. We got strawberry ice cream.
Varieties of items - mini BBQ includes 5 starters, 15 main dishes, salad and A dessert.
What I didn't liked was that there was no specific menu for mini BBQ i.e; though there was 15main coarse dishes we didn't what all items are there in that neither we were told by our servers. They just bought 2 sabji and kulcha(here they told u can choose from kulcha, roti and Nan) and finally when we asked rice he just served us the rice which had just sweet corn and nothing else mainly. So as per my counting 3 types of rotis, 2 types of sabji and A rice which sums 6 types main dishes so we had no idea of about another 9 dishes.
HERE'S THE MAIN THING WE WERE NOT SERVED WITH SALAD why I m telling is that wen as a customer we are paying u the money we demand the service. Overall it was Ok experience for me.. hope u make me feel happy in...
