We stopped here for lunch on our way to Virajpet and spent about an hour.
The restaurant is in the first floor and can seat about 50 guests at a time. It was full when we went, with a family literally vacating their table for us. We were a group of five with one toddler. Hence, we requested for curd rice without any tempering and chilly for the kiddo, and in no time we were served that. By the time we decided what we wanted, they brought us the curd rice. We went on to order a mushroom starter, rotis, paneer sabji, dal tadka and some more curd rice.
The service time was less, so were the quantities. That was a disappointment, but nonetheless, we enjoyed our food. The price was a little above average as well.
Why I chose to give this place a full five star rating over a deserving four is simply because of their honesty.
So, one of us left our sunglasses near the table we sat and realized it only the next afternoon. I immediately called them up and inquired about the lost shades. The staff (I cannot recollect the name) initially said there was none, but they would recheck and get back in half an hour's time. Guess what? Yes, I did get a call in less than thirty minutes! They confirmed we had left it there. I said I would collect it the next day, and at about 7 in the morning, they were open JUST FOR US!
This place simply stole...
Read morePOOR EXPERIENCE....I had a very poor experience at the place not due to the food but due to unwarranted arrogance and rudeness of the owner. There were no proper indications to park, neither was there anyone to guide you on where to park. So i went into the basement and parked at the only available place in absence of any guidance. In between while having my meal the waiter told me that i have to repark my vehicle, to which i left my lunch and moved to the basement. There was a man who started shouting with " Dont you know that you should not park here, you have blocked my car"...in a manner which was very rude. I also realised and pointed out that there was enough space and he could take out the car from the side. Being a fauji...we are taught to remain calm unless provoked...but here I was left with no option but to raise my voice also. Suprisingly he claimed and turned out to be the owner of the same restaurant. I was surprised at his arrogant behaviour being in the hospitality industry. I hope some sense prevails and he calms down as an individual and addresses a problem at the cause than shout and mock at his own restaurant guests....

Service is good, and everyone is friendly. Most of the food had less salt, it's better to add on one's need. Service was quick enough, and food was served hot. Ambience is bright and maintained clean.
Restroom: another reason to have this restaurant as a stop, is because they have a clean restroom. Parking: free parking, sufficient enough to park many cars and even tempo traveller.
Overall, a good place for dining. The Restaurant can concentrate and improve on the food taste, in order to attract more crowd, inspite of having too many good facilities (restroom, ambience...
