Tikka Street, Arabian Fusion — Restaurant in Karnataka

After a long while of browsing the map for the best Arabian food, this place popped up. As we reached this place, we could see the smoke coming out from the grill and just spread across that section of the road. The aroma of grilled chicken is so sensational that it makes you order anything cooking on that flame. Not to mention, you can see those big pieces of chicken getting roasted since it is done outside. (⭐=a must try)

The food 🍗: On our first visit, we ordered a Shawarma roll, Chicken Alfaham (Half). Kubbus to go with the Alfaham. ⭐Shawarma was delicious, the chicken was juicy, fresh and flavorful with that hint of charred taste, and even their Mayo was tasty. ⭐The Alfaham is delicious and the number of pieces you get, considering the size of each piece, is good. On our second visit, we ordered chicken Alfaham again, and since the place is "tikka street", we ordered ⭐Chicken tikka. And yes, you might have to wait for a little bit longer for the food to arrive as they prioritize delivering food to take away orders. That's what I've noticed. They roast the chicken fresh as per order and not by serving something that was already sitting on that grill for way too long. Hence I had no problem waiting since I saw them place the marinated chicken onto the grill only when the order was placed. And oh boy, it was worth it. The chicken tikka was tender and juicy and the flavor of the marinate was amazing. The flavor of the oil was good too. We had ordered a ⭐Sharjah shake. It took a lot of time to arrive actually. But the taste was amazing. The flavor of dates and the thickness of the shake are pretty amazing. We then ordered 2 more Sharjah shakes, but these arrived way quicker than the last one. And they have a good service as well. They tend to your requests pretty quickly. We asked for an extra Kubbus, mayo and they immediately brought it.

The service ⭐: And they were even kind enough to mention that they had increased the price of shawarma to 75 ( i don't remember the cost exactly) temporarily due to rising oil prices. I have no clue how much it cost previously, but I found it sweet, that they mentioned "temporarily". They have enough staff to handle everything, so your request won't...

I recently tried a shawarma from this local eatery, and I must say that the experience was rather average. While the shawarma had all the essential ingredients and components, it didn't quite impress me in terms of flavor and overall quality.

Starting with the meat, it was decently cooked but lacked the juiciness and tenderness that I typically associate with a satisfying shawarma. The seasoning on the meat was adequate but didn't stand out in terms of taste. It could have benefitted from a bolder and more flavorful marinade to elevate the overall taste experience.

Moving on to the condiments and fillings, they were sufficient but didn't have that extra touch to make them memorable. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, but the flavors didn't harmonize as well as I had hoped. The garlic sauce and other dressings were satisfactory but didn't leave a lasting impression.

Another aspect that could have been improved was the bread or wrap. It lacked the softness and freshness that enhances the overall enjoyment of a shawarma. A well-prepared shawarma bread should be warm, pliable, and add to the overall texture and taste of the dish.

While this particular shawarma was by no means bad, it didn't go above and beyond to leave a lasting impression. It tasted average, meeting the basic expectations but failing to stand out in terms of flavor and quality.

It's worth mentioning that taste preferences can vary, and what I found average might be enjoyable for others. Therefore, I encourage you to try it for yourself and form your own opinion based on your personal taste...

Oooof..... I was searching for restaurants through swiggys and then I found this restaurant I thought this was an average restaurant but as soon as I had a first bite of mine It was an euphoria.damnnnnn it was so good that it was finger licking tasty.......then the lime juice was the best juice I've ever tried. Loved this place. I will recommend this restaurant to my friends and families. Because i just don't need to enjoy the food prepared by this restaurant alone.
