Vijayanagar paradise restaurant is a surprisingly good restaurant. It is located upstairs with the stairs positioned at the side of the building.
There are two types of seating - regular tables and chairs, as well as a low floor seating arrangement with cushions.
There is a simple double sided menu with lots of drink options from juices to lassi and soft drinks.
The meal options include north and south Indian thali, curries, rice and a variety of roti.
The chapatti was soft and delicious, and the butter garlic naan was equally tasty and not too oily. Baked to perfection.
Complementing the roti was the vegetable kolkapuri curry. This was a very flavoursome curry, not overpoweringly chilli hot though allowed the spices to show the depth of flavour. The paneer 65 was also firm with great flavour.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They are also happy to split bills.
