Aariyas Vegetarian Restaurant in Kottarakkara is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys authentic South Indian cuisine. Known for its wide variety of dosas, fluffy poori, and the ever-popular chilly porotta, quality and tradition.

Their dosa menu is extensive, offering everything from the classic masala dosa to creative variations like ghee roast. Each dosa is crisp on the outside and soft inside, perfectly complemented by the array of chutneys and sambar served on the side. The flavors are rich and authentic, making every bite a true treat for dosa lovers.

The poori is another standout. Light, puffed, and golden, it’s served with a delicious potato curry that has the perfect balance of spices. This dish is ideal for those looking for a satisfying, traditional South Indian breakfast or snack.

But the star of the menu might just be their chilly porotta. Spicy, crispy, and packed with flavor, this dish is a unique twist on the classic Kerala parotta. Tossed in a fiery mix of spices, onions, and chilies, the chilly porotta is a perfect blend of heat and texture, making it a must-try for anyone who enjoys bold flavors.

The restaurant is little and clean with friendly staff who are quick to serve and ensure you have a great experience. Whether you're stopping by for a hearty breakfast or a flavorful dinner, Aariyas Vegetarian Restaurant consistently delivers quality food that will have you coming back for more.

If you’re in Kottarakkara and craving vegetarian delights, especially South Indian classics like dosa, poori, and their signature chilly porotta, Aariyas is the...

En route to Chengannur from Tvm, we dropped by for breakfast. Although an Indian Coffee House outlet was right next to it, we decided to check Aariyas out as I'd previously been to several of their outlets in other cities.

The ground floor non-A/C dining area was crowded and didn't seem very clean. Seeing the steps leading to the first floor, we asked if there was an A/C dining hall upstairs: sure enough, there was one.

This was cleaner, but we could still see debris under unoccupied tables. That was a bit disappointing.

We found a clean table and a boring young guy asked us what we wanted. Seeing no menu I asked him what was available. He mentioned a variety of dosas and poori. We ordered one ghee roast, one masala dosa, uzhunnu vada and filter coffee.

The items were delivered very quickly by another guy who was very friendly and approachable. He kept asking us if we needed anything and was ready to serve. His name is Moideen.

We didn't find the food great: just average. The coffee wasn't hot. I asked for one more and Moideen got me a hot one.

The toilets were stinking. Not a good decision to use it. Parking spaces are sufficient for several cars, but we found it difficult as there were lots of cars already parked when we got there.

As far as food quality & hygiene is concerned, they deserve no more than 3 stars. The extra 4th star is only because of Moideen: his pleasant smile and...

This restaurant stands out as one of the best choices in the area, especially for those seeking a wide variety of flavorful and authentic dishes. We visited for breakfast, and the experience was generally delightful. The ghee roasts we ordered were perfectly cooked, with a crisp texture and a rich, buttery flavor. The accompanying coffee was equally enjoyable, aromatic, and freshly brewed, offering a great start to the day.

The restaurant’s menu provides a broad selection of dishes, making it a great place for both locals and visitors to explore various food items. The service was prompt, and the staff was friendly, adding to the overall positive experience.

However, one area that could benefit from attention is hygiene. While the food quality was commendable, I noticed that the restaurant could improve its cleanliness standards, particularly in the dining and restroom areas. Focusing on maintaining a higher level of hygiene would significantly elevate the dining experience and ensure a more comfortable and safe environment for customers. Overall, with just a bit more attention to cleanliness, this restaurant could easily become a top choice for...

TLDR : Decent Dining - Limited Parking - Rest rooms available Another spin off of the whole Aariyas franchise. Located comfortably in the Kottarakkara area, alongside Oxygen Electronic shop. We made a pit stop at this restaurant for a quick breakfast. Noticed that a lot of airport runs make fall here. The frontal space offers limited parking for cars. We tried the Masala Dosa - Ulunthu Vada - Filter Coffee combo. Costed 300 INR (2024 November) for two pax. Noticed a lot of customers going for Poori Masala set as well. Masala Dosa was filling, a solid 3.5-4 on 5. The place is kept okay. The entrance is not accessible. There can be a long line at the restrooms depending on the peak hour as the restroom space is limited.
