I visited this restaurant on 4/05/2023, and after 4 days still I can't forget the floor manager's worst behaviour. His behaviour spoiled my whole week's mood. When I reached there, the floor manager guided me to sit at a table which was vacant. But those who were actually sitting at that table went to the washroom after their meals and they have already ordered desserts which are yet to come on that table. So I decided to move to the next table which was vacant. Suddenly the same guy (floor manager) came and told me that you are not allowed to sit here (very rudely) and told me to wait outside. A family of 4 people was coming to sit there, they could have been guided to sit at 6 seat table . Also that floor manager doesn't allow me to sit anywhere in that restaurant and compelled me to wait outside. There were many 6 seat tables that were free and only a 4 seat table was available. Since we were only 2, I was trying to sit at a 4 seat table , Even if there were plenty of empty tables he literally doesn't allow me to sit anywhere. He, humiliated us in front of that many people. I live in Calicut and there are many outlets of 'Adaminte Chayakkada ' & I had a good experience with their service whenever I visited. This is the worst of any restaurant I have visited my entire life. After such disgraceful behaviour from the restaurant staff I walked out and had a good lunch from the near by restaurant which was delicious and they have a good customer service. I recommend a restaurant called 'THEKKAN THAWA' near to Hyson Jeep, they served food in less time and I was completely satisfied because that insult from Adaminte Chayakkada made me so uncomfortable. After 4 days I can't even forget that behaviour from a reputed restaurant. Don't ever choose this restaurant, I have read many reviews about this restaurant later. Then I realised it's not only me, many others had this worse experience from there. Staff should be trained and teach them what is hospitality and how customers should be treated. Or atleast don't harm anyone's mind. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone , please avoid this particular restaurant even if you...
Read moreI have visited Adaminte Chayakkada on multiple occasions, and while there are some positive aspects to the restaurant, there are several areas that require improvement.
One of the main issues I encountered is the long queues. It's frustrating to wait for a significant amount of time just to place an order. The restaurant seems to struggle with managing the influx of customers, resulting in poor customer service and long waiting times.
Although the quality of the food is good, the quantity is often insufficient for the price. This is especially evident when ordering through the online app. It's disappointing to receive a small portion of food for the amount paid, leaving me unsatisfied and craving for more.
The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant, but it's overcrowded, making it challenging to find a comfortable seating arrangement. The presence of unwanted sacks and an outdated appearance takes away from the overall dining experience.
Furthermore, the reception area often appears unattended, with staff members preoccupied with other tasks. This lack of attention adds to the frustration, as customers are left waiting or seeking assistance elsewhere.
While Adaminte Chayakkada has potential, it needs to address these issues to provide a better dining experience for its customers. Improved customer management, larger portions of food, and a more spacious and updated ambiance would greatly enhance the overall satisfaction of patrons.
It's advisable to communicate these concerns directly to the management, as constructive feedback can help them identify areas for improvement. Additionally, exploring alternative restaurants in the city might be worthwhile to find a dining establishment that better meets your expectations.

Read moreLet me start by saying the food was reasonably good but nothing upto the hype. Secondly, i have visited their outlet in Kozhikode which was truly a pleasant experience.
However, Kottayam was a disappointment. The service was terrible. It was a busy day, they gave me a 8 seater table for 3 of us and asked us to sit on one side of the table so that they can accomodate others when they come. The worst was yet to come, we couldn't find our order taker for 45 mins, then he came to the table to tell us that they didnt have any of the items we wanted to order from their menu. So we ended up with Al Fahim, kizhi beef parotta, chicken fried rice and a buttered pepper prawns. The kizhi parotta looked like pothi parotta didn't find it cooked in a kizhi. May be the order was taken wrong, but I couldn't be bothered by then. Suddenly I realised that the jug of water on my table went missing, for which I had to beg. I wanted an extra khuboos for the alfahm, the order taker wasn't too pleased I asked only for 01, he gave me a look and dismissively said i will arrange someone to get you one. Then we ordered a butterscotch ice cream, a butterscotch milkshake with ice cream and brownie with icecream. We received 2 butterscotch shake with ice cream and a brownie with ice cream. It's either me or the restaurants I go to, people just don't take their orders properly. They are just too busy to be bothered about the customer.
The only person who did his job with sincerity and passion was the parking attendant. He was cordial, helped me park my car properly, opened the door for me and gave me good bye salute with a smile. He was a relief from...
