I seriously don't know why people are going overboard about this chicken fry. I suspect whether the issue was specific to the day we visited or this is this the same Vizhinjam chicken fry people have given undeserved hype. First of all the chicken was very spicy, spicy to the extend where we can't even feel any other flavor other than that of chilly flakes. The meat was only cooked on the outside, the inside portion of the meat was nothing short of raw meat. Talk about hygiene, you won't find any tiny bit of it here. The tables and chairs seem to be cleaned only before a decade, that's the level of dirt on the chairs. The glass which is kept to drink water have turned their color from transparent to yellowish and by seeing the drinking water itself you can identify it as pure tap water. You wont feel to eat anything from here after seeing the open kitchen and the ambience at this place. The waiters serve the food to your plate with their bare hands. Seeing all this we firstly thought of leaving, but we fell for the overhype of this place and it turned out to be a disaster. Seeing all this local ambience and atmosphere please don't expect a bill of the same standard. They charge nothing short of a mid-range hotel in a city. For four of us having chicken fry, parotta and Pepsi the bill came out to be Rs. 635. I highly recommend everyone to not fall in the undeserved hype earned by this restaurant. There are even better options which are way better than this substandard hotel which are not getting the attention which they are...

I recently visited Afzal Chicken, and oh boy, it was an experience! 😱 The spiciest chicken I've ever had, hands down! 🔥 The flavor is incredible, but be warned, it's not for the faint of heart 💥.
Finding a seat was a challenge, and we waited about half an hour to be seated 🕰️. Parking was also a bit of a struggle 🚗. But trust me, the chicken is totally worth the wait and inconvenience 🍗.
The place was crowded when we went, but that just adds to the charm 🤩. The staff was super busy, but that shows how popular the place is 🤯.
You'll definitely need a cold drink to cool down after the spicy feast ❄️. They have Coke, Pepsi, and even grape juice to help put out the fire 🍹.

Read morePlace is good, crowded . Luckily got seats for two. Waiting time is long . We went there at 7pm in the evening . So the place was packed . Food is good . We ordered chicken fry and parotta . Parotta is very small and very thin . Price was affordable . The shop is situated at main road which is packed with traffic . There is no parking space provided by the hotel, so you need to park your vehicles somewhere else . People who drive cars are going to find it difficult to find parking space .
If you're visiting this place for the first time and didn't try their famous chicken fry, you need to bring something cold so you can manage the heat . When we visited yesterday, soft drinks were over . The hotel only give you hot water, and that's dumb . How can you drink hot water when you ate all the spicy stuff? That's tactics by the hotel to buy their ball grape juice (40/-) and it wasn't even cold . Soft drinks were over when we came . I have experience eating spicy stuff, my friend couldn't handle the heat . So, ask them if there is any soft drinks (7up, pepsi) available . If not, buy from nearby stores .
Hope this review helps . This detailed review was meant for people who hasn't even visited this place and people who are planning...
