Went in there with high hopes. But got a very terrible experience, sarting with the service. As everyone knows, it is a covid time. So everyone is advised to maintain safe distance, but not here. We asked to get a seat in the upper level, but they told all the seats needs to be filled to use the upper level. So, we were forced to sit next to another family, who is not even a arm's length away.
Then we got a server, and all the items we asked for was not available. In the outside there is a big board saying barbeque is served, but apparently it was not. No chicken Items, no chinese, arabic, american, nothing that people orders.
So we ordered some noodles, fried rice, chappathi and currys. Now the noodles is a fun thing to see. It was a chicken noodles, and the waiter hand to search the entire bowl and showed the couple of little chicken pieces in a chicken noodles. It is more like an egg noodles with chicken sprinkled on top to look like chicken nooDles.
The soup was also terrible. They didn't have the spoon to start with. Gave a normal spoon, no sauce, vinegar with a Soup, which is outrageous.
To top it all off, they didn't even have the courtesy to inform the guests that kitchen is closing soon. We just needed 5 glasses of fresh lime, to which they said kitchen is closed, no it won't happen. They should complete an order before closing the kitchen, as is a normal courtesy. If they would have asked whether we need anything because kitchen is closing, we would have said about our order.
Don't expect to be greeted by anyone, no propoer table service ( We literally have to hail someone to get our first order ), menu has more unavailable dishes than available, no A/C, no social distancing, no tissue paper in wash area, no proper utensils. It is like a thattukada built up into a restaurant.
Ooh, excep the idiyappam, all other food...
