I recently ordered a Whopper Meal for 2 (₹599) and upgraded the drink to a shake (₹71). The final bill presented to me was ₹772, which I paid without immediate verification. Upon reviewing the bill afterwards, I noticed that 2 KitKat Sundaes had been added at nearly ₹29 each. These items were neither requested by me nor required, and they ultimately went to waste.
When I raised this issue with the sales staff, I was informed that the sundaes are “by default” added whenever the Whopper Meal for 2 is selected. The staff even showed me this on their system and clarified that it was not their personal error. This gives the impression that the system has been intentionally configured by management to extract additional charges. Such a practice is highly misleading, as customers are billed for items they did not explicitly order. Because the extra amount is small, it can easily go unnoticed by many customers.
I felt cheated and extremely disappointed by this experience. I have previously faced similar practices at other food chains, which led me to avoid them. It is disheartening to find Burger King also following such questionable methods. As a customer, I expect transparent, fair, and ethical business practices. Adding unrequested items to a bill is unacceptable and severely erodes trust in the brand.

The employee was dismissive and rude towards me, even laughing and mocking when I inquired about certain offers. Additionally, there was a mistake with my bill— I was not charged for the items I ordered. When I politely asked for clarification, the staff member became visibly angry. Although he eventually corrected the billing to reflect the food I ordered, the situation was further worsened by a colleague standing nearby, who sarcastically remarked, "Get rid of this person already." Such behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances.
This incident was very disturbing and left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. I sincerely hope that you will look into this matter, provide proper training to your staff on customer service, and ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future. Yesterday, my family and I visited your store at the mall and noticed the advertisement for the meal combo offer. We were disappointed to find out that you didn't have Pepsi or any other soda available. Additionally, there was no alternative drink offered to us. We were told that we had to pay extra for tea or coffee.
As a multi-national brand, it's a shame that you don't have drinks included with the meals. It would be great if you could provide an alternative option to your customers instead of just adding the extra cost.
The meal combo offer was advertised at INR 149, but individually buying a burger, fries, and a coffee cost me INR 219. This feels like a misleading and unfair practice.
