As a foreigner, it was fun to come to this place. It was far from tourist areas and the seating (non private room) was very basic, but the fried duck was delicious, perfectly cooked, and reasonably priced with the perfect amount of spice. Same for the paratha (minus the spice of course).

I recently visited Chanakyans and it was incredible! The pure toddy was refreshing and perfectly complemented the food. Food is really good and priced reasonably for the quality & quantity. The lunch meals are good, my favourite is the pork and meen thala from here. Have tried almost all items on the menu.
