Chemparathy restaurant Hill palace — Restaurant in Kerala

We visited in the morning for breakfast and were disappointed by their limited bread breakfast menu, which consisted of only chappathi and porotta. We ordered porotta, chicken curry, and Chilli Gopi gravy, along with 3 teas and 2 coffees. The wait for our food was longer than expected. They provided 5 glasses on our table, but we had asked for hot water, which was not delivered. When the food finally arrived after a few minutes, it was enjoyable.

However, the issue with the hot water persisted, even as we were finishing our breakfast. We reminded them once more about the hot water, and they brought us regular water, explaining that the hot water was not ready. We declined the regular water, opted to wash our hands, and proceeded to pay the bill. Upon reviewing the bill, we realized that the tea and coffee we had ordered were never served. We asked them to remove these items from the bill.

We were here on a sunday. There were four of us . What we ordered was just meals. Since it would be faster. But it took them almost 1 hour just to get the rice. And one of us ordered fish fry and I ordered chicken curry. The rice was overcooked. And the sambar was just some tangy water. The chicken curry that i ordered arrived long after we ate. So i parceled it. And when i took a bite after getting home it tasted horrible. The chicken was not cooked well. It was raw. And i threw it away. And the fun part is we ate the food at their AC restaurant. The ac was not working and we were sweating. But they didn't forget to add the amount of ac to the bill.. when i asked the boy at the counter he said the ac was working well. Me and all the people who ate there knew the ac was not working. My advice.. NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE.. OR EVEN ACCIDENTALLY DINE HERE. DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD...

My experience at Chembarathi Food Factory was a bit underwhelming. On the positive side, the parking facility in front of the restaurant and the attractive outer look caught my attention. However, the interior failed to maintain the standard suggested by the exterior.

The separate air-conditioned dining area seemed promising, but the malfunctioning air conditioner made it uncomfortably suffocating. The slightly visible kitchen raised concerns about cleanliness, and the used glass and plates were not up to par in terms of cleanliness.
