I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gulmohar, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The restaurant offers a wide array of delectable dishes with a strong emphasis on vegetarian cuisine. The atmosphere is nothing short of majestic, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience.
What sets Gulmohar apart is its commitment to preserving the authenticity of each cuisine. Their menu is a delightful journey through various regional flavors. I started my day with a traditional Udupi-style breakfast, which was a burst of South Indian flavors and aromas. The quintessential Kerala meal that followed was a true delight, with its blend of spices and textures.
For lunch, I opted for the authentic North Indian dishes, and they did not disappoint. The flavors were rich, and the use of indigenous spices truly elevated the experience. Finally, the Oriental spread offered a scrumptious fusion of flavors that left my taste buds tingling with delight.
Gulmohar's dedication to using natural ingredients and traditional cooking techniques shines through in every dish. The service was impeccable, and the staff's knowledge of the menu added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.
In conclusion, Gulmohar is a culinary gem that takes you on a gastronomic journey across India and beyond. If you appreciate authentic flavors, a majestic dining ambiance, and a diverse vegetarian menu, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. I can't wait to return for another memorable dining experience...

I visited Hotel Gulmohar restaurant for dinner, and while the ambience was quite good, the food quality and service left much to be desired. Starting with the soup, it was served cold, which is disappointing as no one expects to have a cold soup. We ordered vegetable lollipop and crispy fried veg, but both dishes tasted exactly the same, with no distinct flavors to differentiate them.
The main courses, including Palak Paneer and Paneer Butter Masala, were not up to the mark either. The taste was rather bland and lacked the richness these dishes typically have. To top it off, the lemon tea we ordered was simply hot water served with a tea bag, lemon slices, and sugar packets on the side. This was far below the standard I was expecting for something as simple as lemon tea.
Lastly, I also noticed that the smoke detectors in the restaurant were not functioning, which raises safety concerns.
Overall, I had expected much better from this restaurant. The food needs significant improvement, and the service could use some more attention to detail. I hope they take this feedback seriously and work on improving...
