Pretty good restaurant but it could be better if they could fix some issues, then they can be called a proper Aryaas Restaurant.
First things first, the food is surprisingly good. In a typical Aryaas you would expect the Roast items to dominate over other food types, but here it is different. The chilli porotta is by far the best I had in comparison to all the other Aryaas I've visited. Same could be said for Biryani. What made it better is the perfect amount of seasoning which stands out in each dishes uniquely. Roasts were below average due to the fact that it's a little bit on the tough side. But still can't be considered bad.
The main issues I want to mention is that the supplying service and the seating arrangement. There is no family room available, and the dining area is a bit noisy since it is a pretty big hall which also accomodates the kitchen so kitchen noises as well as the customers contribute to the overall noisiness. Still, the cooking scene proves to be a wonderful sight. When I went to the restaurant it was at 9 PM and the restaurant was pretty crouded. But, there was only one supplier and believe me, he did a wonderful job at managing the whole lot of customers but the management should note this issue and please hire more waiters. Otherwise its plain 5 stars.

Mostly Sunday's are crowded. The quality of the fopd provided is nice. Worth for the money you pay. It is a bit difficult to find the hotel. Because it is in a building a little inside from the road ( of course the gap is the parking lot) and many buildings are nearby. We will see the hotel when we are just in front of it. The Vegetable biriyani and other special items are too available. The difficulty is to get the items like Gopi manjoorian and some stuffs like that. This is because the demand for Dosa is so high and majority of the customers will be coming for that. Similarly at lunch time also the people will be coming for meal. These time getting rare items like manjoorian and all will not be possible. Rest all things are good. The meal is good, Dosa is tasty. Vegitable Biriyani is good. Chappathy and associate currys are good. As I said it is one pf the worthy vegetarian hotel to...
Read moreAaryas in Chengannur offers a mixed bag of culinary experiences, with some dishes shining brighter than others. Having sampled a variety of their offerings, I found the chole bhatura to be a standout. The bhaturas were fluffy and perfectly paired with the flavorful chole, making for a truly satisfying dish.
On the flip side, the dosa, chilli porotta, and other dishes I tried were rather average. While they were decent, they didn't quite reach the same level of excellence as the chole bhatura. The dosas lacked the crispness I look for, and the chilli porotta didn't have the punchy flavor I expected.
The service at Aaryas was also just okay. While the staff were courteous, I found the service to be a bit lacking in attentiveness and efficiency. However, this did not detract significantly from the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, Aaryas in Chengannur is a decent choice if you're craving chole bhatura. However, if you're looking for a more consistent culinary experience, you might want to explore other options...
