Hotel shaji since 1960 — Restaurant in Kerala

It was around 10oclock in the night, I was hungry and was thinking that I should spend my night driving having only bread or bun and I was recommended by my cousin to drive to nearby punalur bus stand to this place. For a hungry man at that time, Hotel Shaji looked like a paradise.. I had parotta with chicken curry with strong chaaya,wow that was typical kerala dinner, .. Usually all restaurants are closed by 9 in most of Kerala small towns that too during covid days timings were strict, but this specific restaurant run for 24 hours , 365 days.. I was told, Shaji is the only restaurant which will be open even on Harthal days, heard that shop's shutter got stuck and rusted as it was not used for years.. 😀..
