Date-20-03-2025,02:05 PM) Billing Details: Bill No: 56033 Token No: 43, 49 Items Ordered: Chicken Tikka Biryani – 2 Qty (₹209.52 each) → ₹419.05 Packaged Drinking Water (1 Litre) – 1 Qty → ₹19.05 Subtotal: ₹438.10 GST (5%): ₹21.90 Grand Total: ₹460/
Food Quality & Portion Size (⭐⭐ 2/5) The Chicken Tikka Biryani was disappointing in both taste and portion size. At ₹210 per plate, it contained only 3-4 chicken pieces, which were extremely small. The portion was far from satisfying, especially when compared to other restaurants offering better quantity even at ₹170.Additionally, the side dishes—salad and lemon pickle—were served in a single small bowl, which was insufficient for two people. While one portion of pickle is acceptable, only one small portion of salad was served, making it completely inadequate.
By the end of my meal, I was left eating just the rice with that one limited salad, which was a disappointing experience.
Pricing & Value for Money (⭐⭐ 2/5) Considering the limited portion size and average taste, the pricing felt overly expensive. For ₹210, customers expect a more generous quantity and better quality.
Customer Service (⭐⭐⭐ 3/5) The service experience was not satisfactory. It felt as though the staff was trying to influence customer choices rather than allowing them to select freely. A more customer-friendly approach would enhance the dining experience.
Ambience & Atmosphere (⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5) The restaurant’s ambience was well-maintained and comfortable, which was a positive aspect. However, ambience alone cannot make up for subpar food and service.
Final Verdict: Would I Visit Again? No, unless food quality, portion sizes, and service improve. A good atmosphere isn't enough when the food itself lacks value and taste.
Overall Rating: ⭐⭐½ (2.5/5) ✔️ Good ambience ❌ Food portion is too small for the price ❌ Taste is average ❌ Service needs improvement
👉 For only ambience, I can't give an overall rating of 3 or above. Food...
Read moreWorst Experience , wasted Money as well as our time .. Visited this restaurant for a dinner with my family after our shopping @ Trends in Dmall Totally disappointed with Quality and Quantity of food ordered. Menu card stating all North Indian dishes , however Street foods would be more tasty comparing to their Chef preparation , Moreover The restaurant Management should atleast learn ( Full & Half ) Quantity to be served . We ordered Murgh Methi Malai Due to Quantity we ordered 2 Full ( No Methi in chicken , Cashew paste was very medium they added curd to enhance the Cashew paste , Chicken pieces was below average and not properly cooked as if they had cut the chicken with some machine ) Lemon Juice : Even Street Vendors prepare more tasty rather than their juice maker ! We ordered 3 Lemon juice and we could not even Sip it I canceled it and had Mineral water instead of their lemon juice experiment … To the Management Am not sure if you do have cross checked while appointing your Northindian Food chef … Worst experience …. Won’t recommend this restaurant to any one Am not interested in sharing photos and bills however I had visited this restaurant yesterday 20.05.2023 with my family for dinner Thought to share my experience so that other families won’t get disappointed while ordering north Indian food...
Read moreThis was my fourth visit to Lemon Leaf Punalur, and unfortunately, the last two experiences, including this one, have been incredibly disappointing and frankly, the worst. It's disheartening to see such a drop in standards. On my recent visit, we started with a soup, which was just okay-okay – nothing to write home about. The Butter Naan was consumable, but that's about the highest praise I can give. The Alfahm was very bad, not at all good. The quantity was very less when compared to the price, which felt like a rip-off. More importantly, it was not cooked properly, and the masalas tasted raw, indicating a lack of proper preparation and cooking time. It was a struggle to eat. For dessert, we ordered Tiramisu and Chocolate Mousse. The Tiramisu was a huge letdown. It was not at all the same thing you'd expect from a Tiramisu; it was entirely different from what it should be. The quality was very, very bad, and it was clear the base was prepared using some low-quality ingredients. It bore no resemblance to an original Tiramisu whatsoever. Overall, while earlier visits might have been better, the recent experiences, especially this last one, clearly show a significant decline in food quality and value....
