EMERGING REPLICA OF HEAVEN ON LAKE!! “THE KARMA CHAKRA” We are from Bangalore stayed at Karma Chakra Kumarakom resort from 12th May to 16th May-18 first time with my wife and two children Gurucharan – studying Btech 7th semester in MIT, Manipal and Yugandar – studying 7th standard. This is a unique property of Karma group on the banks of Lake Vembanad, as the lodging is built straddling over a canal (with lots of small cute fishes inside the water) and throughout resort, stone slab bridges at path way to navigate our way across the lagoons, was more attraction to walk and found innovative design!! Karma Chakra, Kerala was on our list for quite some time kept pending. After visit realized how we missed this God’s gift location of Karma property and decided with family somehow to make a visit again next year during same time as the memories of the experience had at Karma Chakra are irreplaceable even after 2 weeks coming back from Kerala to our place. Right from the time we checked in, till the time we left (of course very fast check in/check out than ever experienced and simpler documentation like a signature and address proof that’s all) every single member of the staff, that we had the opportunity to interact with, not only checked if there was anything at all they could do to make our stay that extra bit more memorable, but also ensured that our every need was attended promptly with a smile. Very friendly staff who were prepared to go extra mile for making the stay pleasant Few days before coming to Resort, the information about resort and nearby areas as per our requirement was collected by Mr. Krupa was one to one matching and it helped us a lot without much waste of time for enjoying and it’s my privilege to give extra mileage to Krupa, a front office Executive. Daily evening family fun games helped bond with other guests too ! The privacy we enjoyed at Holiday activities both at ground floor beside Pool and top floor TT, was so soothing with our family members and time passed for hours made you forget everything. All rooms are quite bigger and having lake view, and was really Awesome to relax and tranquility to the mind, for a long time and watching plenty of varieties of Boats from our Balcony passing through our resort is of most catching and attraction of this Karma Chakra property. Great experience!! Other facilities like swimming pool, spa, garden, easily available RO pure drinking water at each block, sit outs facing to lake and lake water extends into the resort as shown in my pictures are amazing, calm; and full marks to all. If you want some change from our resort restaurant, easily accessible to main road if your prefer walk about 1 km from resort or readily available auto rickshaws at reasonable rates and friendly drivers to cater Hotels with Local food especially Kerala Parotas, Karimeen fish( for fish lovers), boiled rice(Kerala rice called); And for breakfast Puttu with Kabool curry or Egg gravy very tasty. Early morning between 6.30 and 8.00 you should visit to the Bird Sanctuary. It’s 15 minutes max from our resort by Auto rickshaw to Bird sanctuary. All variety birds like Egrets, Stork, Carmaly, Kingfishers with nests found this season for breeding was wonderful watch. And boat ride inside the lake by Govt of Kerala(jetty) taking us was really amazing taking us to Allepey and dropping back is different experience. However the resort organized boat club is at top rate. Had an amazing time and wonderful stay, would love to revisit !!! Worth and right investment by becoming loyal member to Karma group is what we feel Long live Karma group with many more properties in coming days…

This was our first trip to a Karma Group property since we became members in December 2023. Our family of four had planned to visit several attractions in and around Kumarakom, but as soon as we arrived at Karma Chakra, all our plans quickly went out of the window. The peaceful, serene and relaxing ambiance of the resort was so captivating that none of us wanted to venture outside. We found ourselves drawn to the beauty of the resort itself, opting to unwind and enjoy the surroundings rather than engage in sightseeing.

Karma Chakra is perfectly situated on the tranquil backwaters, with sit-out areas along beautifully manicured lawns. The views of the flocking birds, the sunrise, and sunset, all accompanied by a gentle breeze, created an unforgettable experience. The resort offers a unique environment that words cannot fully capture. It’s the ideal getaway for couples of all ages, offering moments of pure relaxation and tranquility.

The amenities at Karma Chakra are exceptional. For families, the resort offers a range of activities to keep everyone entertained. There is a well-equipped gym, a swimming pool, cycles, badminton courts, a mini library, snooker tables, a kids' play zone, a PS5 and a variety of indoor games like carrom, chess and soccer. These facilities ensure that children are happily occupied, allowing parents to enjoy quality time together without any distractions. The entire area is very safe, which adds an extra layer of peace of mind for families.

A special mention must be made of the Children's Day celebration organized by the General Manager, Mr. Rakesh, in the evening. It was a truly delightful event and our kids had a fantastic time. The resort went above and beyond to create a fun and engaging experience for the little ones, with games, activities, and special treats that made the evening memorable. It was clear that the team genuinely cares about making families feel welcome and ensuring the children have a wonderful time during their stay. I must also commend the resort’s staff for their exceptional service. The housekeeping and dining teams were incredibly cordial and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. Both the General Manager, Mr. Rakesh, and the Cluster Manager, Mr. Srijith, were very hands-on, constantly ensuring that everything was running smoothly. The food at the resort was nothing short of spectacular. The authentic Kerala recipes were a true highlight, and the quantity and quality of the meals were impressive, all at very reasonable prices. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Mr. Anuj and our relationship manger Mr. Rizwan and also Mr. Likesh & Mr. Vinay from Karma Goa for helping me understand the membership plan back in December 2023, which ultimately led to this wonderful experience. Initially, I had some reservations about my decision to join, but I’m now extremely happy with it. One of the best things about being a Karma member is that it encourages us to take a family holiday every year. Without this, we might have missed out on these precious moments together. It was a one of the best Holiday stay that we have ever had in recent past. Our Holiday at Karma Chakra was astonishing as we still cherish the time spent there. It was a beautiful property of Karma with every minute that we stayed there, we connected with Nature. Location is best suit with Tranquillity view of God's Own Country. Every staff member at your resort were absolutely fantastic in whatever they are doing.

I feel that I'm a proud member of Karma Group and thoroughly enjoying the benefits of the membership.

All the facilities and services provided at the Houseboat, Restaurant, Three Monkey's (Kid's Entertainment Arena) were of Class-A. Missed to enjoy the services at Gym, Spa, Swimming Pool (Due to the current restrictions because of COVID19) but be assured we are coming again to make use of these facilities as well.

All the room were very spacious with every needs met - Good view of Vembanad Lake where Karma Chakra sits in the picture-perfect village of Kumarakom on the banks of this lake. Restaurant serves good food with highest quality of ingredients and the taste is at the paramount.

Karma Group just not really provide great Holiday Experiences but with the facilities and people around always thrives to give the bestest of the time spent with the Karma Group.

It would be unfair if I do not mention few names who made our stay at Karma Chakra a memorable one.

Front Office - Remya & Anandhu - Ensured our Check-in and Check-out process was seamless and also any other requirement during our stay was taken care of respectfully. Personally took the ownership of getting bed room decoration and cake arrangement for the occasion.

Houseboat caretakers - Sunil the Boat Captain and Anish the Chef ensured that our overnight stay at Houseboat was the best of the experience of our entire Holiday; Food served was delicious and no need to talk about the ambiences within the Boat. Elegantly furnished 2 AC Bed Rooms; Clean Kitchen and Open Dining area giving good view of scenic bird view through out.

Waterside Restaurant - Incredible views across the lake. Restaurant staffs Arun, Joys, Lal; At Kitchen: Pradosh – Exec Chef; Achu, Hussain, & Jismon were phenomenal at their duties

House Keeping – Nisha and Minto always so courteous and kept our Room uplifted ensured our stay was comfortable. Alongside, the entire resort was kept so clean that we were enjoying every inch of it. Kudos to you and your team!!

Three Monkey's Kids Activity Manager – Divya ensured my 8 year daughter enjoyed the games and activities during her stay. She doesn’t wanted to come back to the room.

Sales Team - Pramod (already a lifetime Friend) and Milind were awesome as well.
