Extremely Disappointing Experience at KFC Lulu Trivandrum

I had a very unpleasant experience at this KFC outlet, and I feel compelled to share it.

First and foremost, the food quality was terrible. The chicken was undercooked, and to make it worse, they had simply thrown chili powder on top of it as if that somehow makes it acceptable. It was not only unappetizing but also unsafe.

The hygiene standards were shocking. I witnessed staff members opening the chicken box and chatting with others without wearing a mask. This is completely unacceptable in a food service environment.

The person taking the order didn’t seem to have any clue about the menu. After I explained my order in detail, she simply looked at me and asked, “Sir, what do you want?” — leaving me speechless. On top of that, it took 20 minutes to place a single order, which is ridiculous for a fast-food outlet.

When I ordered a bucket of 8 pieces of chicken, they handed it to me in a paper cover. Upon asking why it wasn’t served in a bucket as advertised, I was told bluntly: “This is all we have. If you want, take it.” The staff’s attitude was rude and unprofessional throughout.

The person calling out order numbers was extremely unclear, and I wasn’t the only one confused — several other customers were also struggling to understand what was being announced.

🦋I was very hungry when I came across this 🍗 kfc . The things were a little bit too costly but yet affordable. The thing was that it took some time . But the patience paid off with very very very very yummy food . We ordered two small packets of French fries 🍟 😋 😍 and 6 leg pieces 😋 😅. It also came with a fun piece comic also had some yummy garlic dipping , myonise and soda . Overall the food was very satisfactory and yum yum yummy 😋 😊. The food was of good quality . I liked it soo much . I ate two pieces 😋 (leg) The only bad thing that I review about is the atmosphere ✨️. Space is minimal and it is already taken by people . There is this bigg hall in which everyone eat. But for big families it is very hard and stressful 😕 😪. I hate the small space . We waited for soo long to get one table . I was crying with pain in my legs and my little sister was soo disturbing at that time so we need a more large settlement in this food or cafe area . There is no proper line or queue management . Disgusting and extremely rude behaviour from a member of staff wearing a black face mask at appox 1900 hours on 2 Jan 2025 in the Lulu Mall KFC

My friend and I ordered a quick bite. We finished our food and my friend returned to the counter to get the change that was due back while I sat at the table. A member of staff came to my table and asked if I had finished. I politely stated that I had. His response was extremely rude. All he said was' go'. Thats it. One word In a raised voice. I have not encountered such rudeness and will not tolerate this behaviour from anyone and I berated him informing him not to talk to anyone in that manner and he should learn some manners. No response from him whatsoever. He just looked at me. Extremely rude and nasty individual. I was polite and even Informed him I was waiting for my friend who was at the service till. I was shocked by his behaviour and have no idea why he thinks he can talk to anyone in that manner. I live abroad so I'm not returning but this is not the way to treat paying customers. He ruined what was otherwise a nice visit...
