Worst Greedy outlet.....I was a frequent customer of this store for quite some time,so yesterday as i was coming back from a trip, decided to get a ultimate savings bucket worth Rs.786 from the kfc pattom as take away , i walked into the store ,placed the order and reqested them to provide me the coke included in the ultimate saving bucket as bottle or cans,as i have to travel more than 1hr to reach home ,had some other purchases to be done on the way ... if they provide coke in cups,by the time i reach home, the coke will loose all its soda, which i believe was very normal thing to ask . But for my surprise they arrogantly rejected my request ,stating they will only give cans or bottles to swiggy orders .This was a new information to me, since i have recieved 3 cans or 1bottle instead of cups from kfc QRS mall and kfc kazhakootam in the past in simiar circumstances and i was expecting the same courtesy form them ,as my concern was 100% genuine. It doesnt make any sense in the argument that the person order from swiggy gets the coke in bottle ,but the customers who buys it in the store as a take away paying the same amount of money would have buy the coke in cups...they said to me this is rule of kfc, i cant belive a brand like kfc would have such stuppid rules which will ruin the customer experience. If that was the rule then how other outlets have given me cans or bottles, rule should be same for every store right?.. I belive this specific store is triying to make some more money from you by providing coke in cups which is cheaper for them, not considering about the customer experience .....And after all this, since i had already paid the money by then,i bought the order.......when i reached home after an hour of drive ,all the soda form the coke cups has gone and coke felt like a sugar syrup,we have to throw it in the drain, ruining the whole experince for my family, just because of this greedy outlet. Not gona visit this store again in my life .I have also written about this to kfc india aswell ,hope they will take some action or else if this is the way kfc treats its loyal customers , then i belive i will have to say good by to...
Read moreUtter Disappointment at KFC - A Frustrating Experience
I recently visited KFC, hoping for a quick meal, but what I encountered was a complete disaster. The experience started with three ordering kiosks. Thinking it would save time, I decided to use one. Unfortunately, after selecting my choices, a staff member—who was hearing or speech impaired—signaled that the kiosk didn’t have UPI or card payment options. Fine, I got it.
I noticed the main counter was free and went there, thinking it would be faster. But to my surprise, they told me to go back and order through the kiosk. Aarghh!!! Frustrated, I returned to a different kiosk, only to find a long queue with an equally long waiting time.
Finally, I managed to place my order and made the payment and I received a message in whatsapp saying "Your order is confirmed and will be ready in 7 minutes". So, I took my receipt and sat down, waiting for my token number to be called. After 20 minutes, I noticed people who arrived after me were getting their food, while I was still waiting, starving and irritated.
When I approached the counter to ask about my order, the staff informed me that after confirming the order on the kiosk, I was supposed to go to the main counter and tell them about my order again! Double confirmation? Seriously? This is nonsense, it was not instructed anywhere that the receipt must be showed to the counter to confirm the order. If kiosk doesnt send the order directly to the kitchen, then what is the purpose of kiosk.
To make matters worse, I had to wait another 20 minutes to get my order. This whole process was frustrating, especially when you’re starving. Either properly convey this ridiculous process to your NEW customers or don’t implement such so-called technological advancements that only complicate simple tasks.
This experience left me really angry, frustrated, and incredibly disappointed. KFC, you need...
Read moreDisappointed and, Size does matter!!! Although I am not a frequent visitor here, I do like some of their menu items, especially their seasonal "Double Down" burger which holds chicken meat instead of the bun bread. Its really rich and it's one of my wife's favorite items in their menu as well. So as usual, when they relaunched this item I went and ordered 2 of these as take away as restaurant was not open for dine in due to covid restrictions. Got my order reasonably quick, and went back home to have it with my wife. I grabed one from the paper bag and started eating and a few minutes later my wife came and took the next one. As she was a bit late, I had taken a couple of bites and was almost through half of it when my wife stopped me. She pointed out that the second burger was close to half the first one. It was like the left over I had in my hands were the same size as the new one she took out of the bag!!! Imagine the distraught disappointment feeling I had. Here I was trusting the brand and franchise to provide equal portion for the price we pay, and getting a kids meal instead. Surely if I was anywhere near the restaurant, I would have returned this and would have given them a piece of my mind. I think such double standards is very disappointing to customers who go to them expecting quality service. So people, I humbly request you to check the quantity and portions of the item you take from such franchise as we are within our rights to get what we are paying for.
To the KFC people: Can't you weight your portions for the price and serve to customers instead of serving drastically different portions for the same price?
I am giving 2 stars just for the double down...
