Disappointing Experience at KFC Kottarakkara

I had a highly disappointing experience at the KFC outlet in Kottarakkara yesterday around 7:55 PM. I visited the store with my family for dinner, expecting a quick and enjoyable meal. However, after waiting in a long queue, we were finally billed at 8:12 PM—only to find that most of the standard KFC menu items were unavailable.

Despite being a fast-food outlet, the service was extremely slow, resembling more of an à la carte experience. By 8:51 PM, we had received only part of our order. When we approached the store manager for clarification, the response was unhelpful and dismissive, indicating a lack of accountability and professionalism.

The staff seemed poorly trained and inefficient, which seriously impacts the brand’s reputation. To make matters worse, the dine-in area was poorly maintained, with leaking air-conditioning ducts and an overall untidy atmosphere.

This was by far the worst experience I've had at any KFC outlet. I hope immediate action is taken to improve the service quality and cleanliness of this branch to restore...

Very incompetent staffs are working here. I went there for a take away on 24/09/2024 at 4pm. Only 2 customers were there for dine in.Even after standing there for almost half an hour, not a single staff came to attend me. A lady staff at the cash counter saw me but she got irritated when she saw me . She delivered the 2 orders waiting there for dine in and immedeatly went to kitchen area.She knew that I am waiting there but she was simply doing some unnecessary things inside the kitchen making me wait there.She was trying to make some of her coworkes to attend my order. None of them were interested in explaining about their combo offers and todays offers to the costumers.I complained to the secuirity and another male staff outside the shop about this and there reaction was awesome.They were simply smiling . Such a big international food brand must do serious scrutiny modalities while selecting their staffs. If this continues like the same, without much delay this outlet may...

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Portion Size Feels Like a Scam

I ordered the Mexican Zinger Pro Sandwich from KFC Kottarakkara, and while it tasted fresh, the size was shockingly small. It looked almost identical to the cheaper Krisper Burger, with just a single, tiny patty. Having tried this same item from other outlets, I’m sure this version was significantly smaller. It honestly felt like a scam. Also to add on to the disappointment, the ac was not working and it was too hot inside.

This isn’t an isolated issue—I’ve had similar bad experiences at KFC Chengannur and Adoor. The quality and consistency across KFC outlets in Kerala are deteriorating, with some issue or another at every location. KFC, please address this and ensure standardized portion sizes across all outlets. Would appreciate a response...
