On our way from Cumbum(Tamilnadu) to Alleppey(14 May) , we stopped for breakfast at this hotel after seeing such positive reviews.

The ambience was good. The hotel is neat and clean.

When we reached, it was around 9 am and the waiter told us only Appam and Dosas are available. We ordered the same.

The Appam was not fresh. It was cold and rubbery. When we enquired, the waiter said appam is always served cold. I've been to kerala many times and I knew how appam is served. We feld bad and helpless because of the language barrier. We had no other option but to eat and leave the place.

I'm giving three stars, because the food tastes good, the ambience is good. We had green peas curry, egg curry for appam and sambar for dosa.

But just because we're new to the place and we didn't speak the local language, you shouldn't serve us the leftover...
