KR Bakes — Restaurant in Kerala

I don't want to say alot about kr bakes be real it is the KR bakes and it is one of my alltime favorite places my childhood is filled with their pastries their peda's like they are so good and the macrons was sooo so good (my fav is the strawberry 🍓 one) ..this time we had their porotta and al fahm and their spl malabar chicken curry 3 of them are good on their own the porotta was so soft (the nools of noolporotta was seeing) and the chicken curry is mild yet so delicious and al fahm so good. We visited like in the last hour of closing indeed we are the last customer even then the food was hot freshly served good customer service and nice ambience (visit upstairs in evenings yaar) actually they renovated and it is so beautiful...

Visited KR Bakes recently and tried a few items from their selection — four chicken rolls, one chocolate truffle pastry, two red velvet pastries, and two black forest pastries. The overall taste was good with nothing to complain about — just honest, decent food that hits the spot.

What stood out more than anything was the layout and ambiance of the bakery. It’s well-arranged, clean, and has a really nice dining area where you can comfortably sit and enjoy your food. The display and organization are done thoughtfully, making the whole experience pleasant.

We were hungry and was looking for some good option on our way. Frankly said, it was a relief to see KR bakers, because, they used to be good. But even though not bad, it was a disappointing experience.

Way overpriced for below-average food. Way overpriced for really bad service. Once we get inside, it like we are serving then, and that is not an exaggeration. We need to beg them for food and drinks.
