Kudavayaran Kitchen — Restaurant in Kerala

This restaurant started in 2020 during the first lockdown. I tried it back then and had a very bad experience, as I suffered from food poisoning after consuming either chicken or beef from Kudavayaran Restaurant. At that time, it wasn’t fully established as a restaurant. After that incident, I didn’t have the courage to try it again.

Recently, in May 2022, I was invited by one of my relatives, and they ordered from the same restaurant. I didn’t experience any issues that time.

However, yesterday (June 1st), I ordered some chicken and beef dishes, and since last night, both me and my family members who consumed the food have been suffering from severe stomach upset. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Mistakes can happen, but not the same one, not twice.

I hope the restaurant will take a thorough look at the quality of the dishes they serve.

(And as for your reply, I already mentioned chicken and beef products, so it’s not generalized. When someone consumes multiple dishes and faces issues, it’s hard to pinpoint exactly which one caused it. Regardless, you know the quality of your food, and from your responses to reviews, it’s clear how you handle genuine customer feedback. First they make good food and give good service, after they have lured in enough customer's, everything goes down south for excess profit( atleast for home delivery orders).

Recently for the past 2 to 3 months, they have significantly reduced both the quantity and quality of food, "atleast in case of home delivery customers who order beef roast and paneer butter".

For example take "paneer butter masala", reciently i ordered 1 paneer butter masala (worth 199+taxe+delivery charge) for home delivery (i have some guests and thus it was urgent), normally from my past experience from them and other restaurants, atleast 2 people can get enough from 1quantity of paneer butter masala,

""but now it is only barely enough for 1 person".

So, please careful atleast with home delivery food orders.

Am a traveler. I keep visiting places. Months back when I was driving down to Trivandrum with a friend of mine in Aluva, he stopped over here to pickup lunch. I relished every grain of your food then, very delicious and tasty. I loved it! 🙂 Today I was travelling towards Kanyakumari from chalakudi via chenganur with another friend of mine. I thought I try once again since I was passing through this place. Though I was early to place an order 10:40, I was hanging around this place till I get my grub @11:30! Worth the waiting.
