The restaurant initially gives a positive impression with its decent ambience, courteous staff, and convenient location. Unfortunately, all of these good points collapse when it comes to the most important factor – the food.

I stopped here on my way back from Aranmula Jalamela, drawn in by the ambience and driven by hunger since I hadn’t had lunch. I ordered Porotta with Pepper Chicken Masala and a coffee (since tea wasn’t available). The food arrived within 5 minutes, which seemed promising – until I tasted it.

The Pepper Chicken Masala was without doubt one of the worst versions I’ve ever had. Instead of the expected Kerala-style preparation, it was a strange, sauce-heavy dish resembling a Chinese gravy. The chicken pieces were tiny, rubbery, and completely flavorless – more like hard-boiled chunks dropped into a pre-cooked gravy at the last minute. The result: absolutely no blend of flavor, no spice infusion, and a dish that was frankly unpleasant to eat.

The Porotta started off passable, but by the third one, it turned into an inedible rubbery mess. Tearing it apart itself was a struggle, let alone chewing it.

Still hungry, I forced myself to finish what I could. When I asked the cashier whether they only serve Chinese-style food, he insisted that their Pepper Chicken Masala is a Kerala-style dish. I had to point out that what I was served was neither Kerala-style nor acceptable in taste or quality and for the premium price of Rs. 300

This raises the question: was it a one-off blunder from the chef, or is this the standard here? If it’s the latter, then this place survives only on its ambience and location — certainly not...

The atmosphere is favourable. The food is decent. Bad service. In particular, how the cashier acted during a communication breakdown in their UPI system. Even though we had proof of payment, some employees were acting as though we had defrauded them. At the parking lot, they pulled us up and asked us how we paid, so I gave them all the information. After a while, one of their employees arrived and said, "Payment received," without offering an apology. They must learn how to interact with clients. We went there of trying the food with a friends because we love to eat. However, we will never be able to return to this restaurant after this experience.

I can understand the issue the cashier will face if no payment received but there is a way to handle it. We stopped to explain and show the proof of transaction but the cashier dint accept whatever we showed. He insisted saying that the payment was not received.

Please give proper training to your staffs to understand and behave in a proper way for what ever...

It is a complete loot by this restaurant ownership. 40 gms of Beef deep fry is offered at a price of ₹400/- (2x₹200/-). Recommended the common public to boycott this entity. They are not concerned of the complaint reported by the customers. The situation demands for a social resistance and intervention by the public. The scandalous restaurant owners must be taught a lesson. Let them realise that this kind of plunder will not be permitted by the socially enlightened masses of the most lawful state in the country. Highest price, little quantity and worse quality. The people in this place must need to take a note of this loot! I am going to escalate this complaint soon with concerned departments of the government. Request every law abiding aggrieved citizen must come forward and question this injustice and loot of this restaurant. Let them be closed for ever! Teach them a...

Took a take away from them. Ordered Chicken Roast and Parotta. When started eating it tasted sweet-sour(Puli) couldn't even eat it, then found out there was a Kodampuli(Tamarind) in the chicken roast. When I returned to the restaurant the next day, the cashier and other staff acknowledged the mistake and replaced the order. However, one server was rude and insisted that Kodampuli( Tamarind) is a normal ingredient in dishes like biryani and chicken roast, While cashier and other staff already accepted the mistake this was an error but this Waitress was arrogant and rude and even to say that adding Tamarind(Puli) to chicken roast and briyani is how it's prepared. Appreciate that the restaurant eventually corrected the error.
