Madras Cafe — Restaurant in Kerala

Our favourite eating joint in the entire Ernakulam district! Though the restaurant is some 15 km away from our home, we still make it a point to eat here, at least twice a week – once in the morning and evening.

Food is prepared right in front of your eyes and is served with a smile. I have always found the kitchen and eating space to be spotless clean. The same goes for the cooks and those who serve the food. Personal hygiene is maintained by them without fail, a deciding factor when I select the place to eat out.

I am urged by the behaviour of the superior staff of this restaurant to reduce my rating. The thing is simple: In order to comply with green protocol they do not give any item even a chappathi, as parcel without giving them a container. I would appreciate their concern. But I expect the staff to be some more polite while expressing their policy.

I give 5 star to the food served here. Also the overall behaviour of the staff is very well. Only thing you have to care about is carry a container always with you, as it is not predictable when you are going need a parcel from there, and especially to not to ruin the image you have about the cafe.

It is the most delicious south indian restaurant in North Paravur. It is much popular among the food explorers. Delicious dosa items are served here. A good destination to have dosa, oothappam, ghee roast etc. Low cost restaurant....

Great place to have breakfast in north paravur. Reached here at 7:20 Am and came to know this restaurant opens at 7:30 AM. Within minutes of opening this restaurant was occupied 75% of its seating capacity. At 7:30 AM only sada dosa ,plain dosa, masala dosa, appam,puttu ,vada , parippu vada, pazhampoori and tea/coffee/milk was available. Tried sada dosa,plain dosa putt,vada,tea/coffee/milk here . Everything was good. Chutney and Sambar here were very good. Poori is served only from 9:30-10:00 Am onwards. Ambience is basic. Service was fast and rates were economical. As this restaurant is situated on a narrow main road finding a place for parking vehicles may be challenging.
