Madras cafe is a small restaurant famous for breakfast. A pure vegetarian restaurant which offers a wide variety of breakfast items at a reasonable rate. They have seating available for 20 people. At times you will have to wait for a table. But the service is quick and you will get a table without much delay. Food quality is really good be it dosa or puttu. Chaya also is good. Puri bhaji starts at 9.30 am only. You will get snacks like pazham pori or Vada as well. Overall the restaurant is neat and clean. Parking is a bit of a challenge for both 2 & 4 wheeler. You will have to park it on the roadside.

Suggested to us by a local restaurant owner this local hole in the wall restaurant has some of the tastiest breakfast you can get in the Cherai Beach area. The owner is really friendly and helped us try out some dishes we had not yet tried in Kerala. Try their small dosa meals (You will be pleasantly surprised), their medhu wada (go before 9 am or they WILL be sold out!), their onion wada and their dal wadas. We were told they serve nice dosas in the evenings but we couldn't go back. Do try those as well...

This place doesnt offer much in terms of looks but if you are looking to have authentic south indian dishes this is the place.The masala dosa and medu vada are worth trying. The location is prime right along the road so parking would be a issue if you are travelling by car. The only thing that was a letdown for me was the fact that they do not accept elctronic payments , only cash payment is allowed. The restuarant is open from 7 to 12 in the morning and 4 to 7 in the evening and is closed on sundays.

Small shop,opens at every evening except Sunday. Ideal for quick bites.one among the best vegetarian hotel in down. Fun fact is that this might be the only hotel ,that never been caught for old food, logically it's impossible cos they sell clean before 7. I would suggest dosa as a starter, moderate price .still have the ambient from 90's tea shop.Great thing is that unlike other hotels the cashier actually smile,..... Oh almost forgot to. Mention,it's one among the cleanest hotel in town too.

One of best vegetarian hotel in town ( in top 4). Known for delicious masala Dosha. Sitting around 15-20 at a time. But for big family conjustion may feel due to less space inside. Parking is the big issue close to hotel, Photo attached. May find out 4wheeler parking opposite to hotel ( small road leading to temple compound). Easy to reach. Right close to bus stop in way of Paravur cherai road. Parcel service also available.Reaaonable prize.

Oldest and best vegetarian restaurants in the North Paravur.. I love the varieties of dosa here. The quality and taste of the food is uncompromising and best in class.. it's very small Restaurant and less in number of seating.. There is no space in front of the restaurant and it's difficult to park even for two wheelers..The prices are also very competitive and economical.. should try everyone.. Also now it's renovated
