When we arrived, there was no parking available at the restaurant — the parking area was completely full. Clearly, the restaurant lacks adequate parking space.
We had to wait for around 10 minutes to get a seat, which gave me the impression that the place was popular and well-received by the locals. That initially gave me confidence that the food would be worth the wait.
However, things quickly went downhill. After we were seated, the food took an unexpectedly long time to arrive. Most restaurants usually inform customers if a particular dish will take time to prepare, but there was no such communication here. In fact, the staff seemed to intentionally avoid engaging with us. To make matters worse, they messed up my order — I ordered Paneer, but they served Gobi instead. I don’t eat Gobi, so this was unacceptable.
We ended up waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes just to get our food. When I asked why it took so long, especially since the restaurant had emptied out by then, the answer was that they were waiting for all dishes to be ready before serving. That didn’t make sense, because others at my table received their orders while I was still waiting for mine to be corrected. If their idea is to bring all dishes together, they should at least make sure they bring the correct dishes.
Now, about the food itself: The quantity was way too much for one person — something that should ideally be mentioned while ordering. As for the taste, it was below average and didn’t live up to the hype. I honestly don’t understand why people keep coming here despite the poor service. Even the table next to us had a similar experience with delayed service and order confusion.
To top it off, our tea order was mixed up with the next table’s, and that’s how we realized they got our tea and we got theirs. We had to call the staff again to fix it.
One major issue I noticed was the lack of coordination between the staff. The person who took our order was from Kerala and understood us well, but the person serving wasn’t from Kerala and couldn’t understand Malayalam. This language barrier caused more confusion, and we had to hunt down the original person who took our order — which felt like a game of hide and seek.
Finally, the atmosphere was nothing special — very basic, and the air-conditioned section was extremely limited.
If you are a traveller going through the road and thinking vegetarian places serve you food fast and healthy this isn't the place for you. Food was really really oily. And giving our first order and corrected orders and all took around 2 hours and 25 minutes which we actually checked our watch. We arrived at this place at 6.30 and left around 9 which is more than when I spent time on a fine restaurant . I think they went to buy the rice to make the fried rice. Otherwise I don't see this much time to cook...

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the sheer convenience of the place. A major plus point, especially in bustling areas, is the ample and hassle-free parking space available – it made our visit completely stress-free right from the start.
We tried the Vegetable Fried Rice with Paneer Butter Masala, and both dishes were truly outstanding. The fried rice was perfectly cooked, light, and aromatic, with a wonderful mix of fresh vegetables. The Paneer Butter Masala was rich, creamy, and incredibly flavorful, with generous pieces of soft, fresh paneer. It struck the perfect balance of spices, not overly hot but wonderfully aromatic, making every bite a pleasure.
The restaurant itself has a pleasant and welcoming ambiance, clean and well-maintained, making it ideal for a family meal or even a quick, satisfying lunch. The staff were courteous and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience.

Read moreService is very slow, food is average, less quantity and over priced. The wait times are pathetic. Quantity served is half of the container which already is a small one to say so. See attached photo. Had ordered parcel for 2 fried rice and mushroom masala. We had to wait about 40 minutes for the delivery. The wait time has always been a concern from the day it started its operations at Paravur. If this could be overcome with some customer care and service it would have been nice. But that is also missing. We had to follow up thrice and the response we got was a cold one saying it will take time. This will be the last visit to the restaurant. Wish the owners could take notice and improve this, given there are very few pure veg options...
