MoMo Cafe — Restaurant in Kerala

I recently had a great dining experience at Momo Cafe in Marriott Kochi Airport. The restaurant offers a delightful ambiance, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Not at all a happy experience. Ordered some Indian and Thai food. Took more than an hour to serve the food . When asked for the food menu QR code , they gave us the payment QR code ! Realised it few minutes later , and then they gave the right one . Food was below average. They served the noodle and Indian bread and only when we asked where’s the side dish then they started running for it ! When checked with the F&B person in charge as in why the food was taking so much of time he bluntly said they have more in room dining and hence they can’t help it ! They took another 1 hour to sort out the bill payment since they had some issues with the app payment . Finally took us three hours to get out of the place, better to say to run out of the place ! I went here for an Americano, since I could not find an alternative nearby proper coffee shop. Didn’t want South Indian filter coffee but a nice strong Americano. Got the job done here but the whole affair took too long. Coffee was decent. Lots of helpful staff around. But the coffee took too long and then getting the payment done was also a drawn-out affair. I would go back because the staff do really try hard and there ain’t anywhere else nearby to get an Americano yet. Oh yeah, the menu on Google is outdated. It says Rs. 175 for an Americano but the actual cost in 2023 is Rs. 348.10 with taxes or $4.25 USD. That’s expensive for India but par for the course in a 5-star hotel.
