I visited Nahdi ptmna recently, and honestly, it was a very disappointing experience. And i think this one definitely deserves to be mentioned. Iâve been to other Nahdi branches, especially the ones in Kozhikode, and theyâve always been decent. So I had some expectations, but this place was nowhere close.
First of all, the ambience was just terrible. The moment I entered, there was this strong unpleasant smell all over the place. It didnât feel clean or fresh at all. The air conditioner was literally leaking water from the top to our table, we had to sit near a table that had water dripping next to it. It looked like they havenât done any proper maintenance for a long time.
The service was equally bad. The waiters seemed careless and uninterested. On top of that, we had to wait quite a while even though the place wasnât that crowded.
Coming to the food, it was average at best. The rice had a strong smoky smell, way too much, like it was over-smoked or burnt. It really affected the taste. Definitely not what you expect from a mandi place. Also, the ketchup bottle on the table had water floating on the top, which was honestly disgusting. Same with the other sauces, they were just left out carelessly. When we pointed it out to the staff, they simply said, âItâs like that.â
Overall, I wouldnât recommend this place to anyone expecting the usual Nahdi standards. This branch is poorly maintained, the service is unprofessional, and the food isnât worth the price. There are far better options around if youâre...
Read moreIn reference to the Nahdi Kuzhimandi restaurant in Perinthalmanna, I feel compelled to provide feedback regarding the quality of food and service experienced during my visit.
The mandi rice, a signature dish, was found to be of average taste and lacked the expected flavors. Additionally, the alfham chicken, which is typically a highlight of mandi cuisine, was excessively coated in masala, raising concerns about its authenticity. It appeared to be more of an alfham gravy with excessive seasoning rather than the traditional alfham preparation.
Furthermore, the overall dining experience was negatively impacted by the inadequate parking facilities. Despite the presence of a designated parking attendant, their attention was diverted, and they failed to provide assistance or guidance in parking vehicles. This resulted in congested parking conditions and inconvenience for customers.
Considering these factors, I would not recommend Nahdi Kuzhimandi in Perinthalmanna to individuals seeking a truly exceptional mandi dining experience. It is concerning that this particular branch consistently delivers subpar food quality and poor service, which deviates from the standards expected of the...
Read moreThis is a note of appreciation. On 7th June 2024, my friend and I had a late night dinner from Nahdi Kuzhimanthi. It was delicious, of course. But the twist came later. I misplaced my wallet somewhere. Searched everywhere and not found. Finally, I had a intuition and called Nahdi, taking the number from Google. The person attended, held my phone and checked and confirmed that my wallet is in the reception, and I, after few hours, on my way to Kochi, just went there and collected it. The person in the front office asked me to check my belongings. I didn't. This is enough sir. Hats off to you. You kept my wallet for 3 days.... This is an example of life in Malappuram. I travelled many states and many told me about a place where only muslims live and allowed to live. And I always fought them. And this was a boost for my fight. Kerala cannot be measured with the northern scales bro. Sorry.
Hats off to all the workers at Nahdi. People remember not only the food, but also the heart behind...
