It is a pure vegetarian restaurant. I had lunch a few hrs ago today (lunch at 4 30 pm). It was a sumptuous meal, a full course vegetarian meal called Sadhya in Malayalam. I am unable to move now. They serve it on Banana leaves. The dishes are prepared with vegetables procured fresh from their own farms. The well boiled rice in the centre. All accompaniments all around the rice. You may make small depressions on the rice to pour Sambar and pulissery. Sambar can be a bit improved. Doesn’t matter. You have lot of dishes to choose and mix with it. Depending on your palate preference, you may mix Errissery, olan, poriyal/thoran, aviyal and kootukary. Also injikkary, pickle and chutney adds to the navarasa. In between the banana chips and sweet banana chips gives additional pleasure. Moru and Rasam will be waiting to mix with rice or drink as such. To end with you have two types of delicious payasam and local ripe banana. Forgot to mention about the two pieces of Kerala Papad served in a hand crafted cane plate. All these on a classic ambience with Ac at Rs 200/-. If you want to take your guests for authentic Kerala Sadhya, this is a place which serves the sadhya daily. The interiors are classic with wall paintings which suites the mood, not very luxurious type. Neat and clean. Easy access from highway. Minimal parking available, but not very crowded.

Don’t miss this place if you are going that way. Food, ambience and staff was top notch. Cherry on cake was the owner, so humble and down to earth making sure that everything is dealt well. We had best food here out of our 5 days trip to kerala. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone. We had thatt dosa and Ghee roast dosa, it was served with 3 chutneys and podi masala which was finger licking. Last but not the least, its very light on pocket. Thank you team Rasa for having us. ❤️

Rasa Restaurant is a good looking, clean and comfortable A/C restaurant. The food is just so tasty and organic food that they get from their own resort that is located in meloor. The service is very good too. The interior is very well decorated with paintings of the culture of kerala. Only thing this restaurant lacks is Parking space.... Only 4-5 cars can be parked in Rasa. Also remember that if you are coming from koratty Highway side, then shift to service road to reach Rasa.

An amazing restaurant on the national highway just before reaching chalakudy. Pure vegetarian food with farm fresh vegetables. Their lunch is as close as it gets to home cooked food. We had dosa, wheat porotta and paneer side dishes. Very well made with good taste. This restaurant has branches in the London and a resort 6 kms from this spot near chalakudy river. It is worth visiting.they have both ground floor and upstairs with AC. Opens at 7 am till 10 pm.

Fast service...of course fresh and simple food at reasonable rates... Neither so cheap nor very costly as their peer restaurants... Tried out the SPECIAL KANJI.. MUSHROOM DOSA.. THATTU DOSA... I felt the kanji along with chamanthi, achar, thoraan was the best... It seemed like having an oushadha kanji... Thattu dosa was also good... The staff is very welcoming... superb ambience.. will visit them the next time for sure
