Okay, so Savor Street... the new kid in the block...
Cost: $$$ Quantity: * Quality: ** Mojitos: **
Before getting into details, in a nutshell: An youngsters joint, where the dishes are served in good Quantity and Quality by a chef who knows his works. A paradise for those who love Creamy and Cheesy dishes sharing with those close. Savory Items too stand on their own and was excellent.
Now into the details: We went ahead and ordered starters knowing it may be a bit too much... but the quantity when we received them smacked reality into us... we had ordered way too much... While some of the Starters are unique to their menu, like the Spicy Chicken Crisp sphere, their take on common starters like Stuffed Mushrooms and Buffalo Wings were finger licking food.
the Spicy Chicken Crisp Sphere, a take on Chicken Pop Corn, with Creamy Chimichurri was licked clean in no time. The Devil Buffalo Wings [not creamy] had enough portion for 5 people and though not spicy, was still well flavoured. Highlight of-course was the Spicy Chicken Crisp Sphere and the exquisite Stuffed Mushroom server more like a soup of creamy cheesy delight. For those who have a bud for creamy/cheesy items, these are the 2 dishes YOU MUST TRY.
For the main course, we had Spaghetti Meatball, White Sauce Cheesy Chicken Pasta, Savor Street Special Beef Burger and Chilli Cheese Hotdog.
The Spaghetti Meatball was one of the best I have tried recently in Trivandrum... Both the Spaghetti and Meatball were flavourful to the core... This dish hit the spot and confirmed that the Chef knew his stuff... The Cheesy Chicken Pasts was another take on a Creamy Cheesy Delight, but what stood out was the fact that none of these dishes tasted the same. While each had Cream and Cheese as their base, the were distinctly different to the palette. The burger too was nicely done, though I would have liked it without the coleslaw in between. And the Chilli Cheese Hotdog had no complaints at all.
The Mojitos were a different story... compared to the vast offerings around TVM, it was just about par.
So, the verdict ? ? ? An excellent place overall... am sure we will be back to try out the rest of the menu... and situated between Kumarapuram and Medical College, it ain't difficult to...

Read moreReview: A Disappointing Experience
Visited this cafe with my family around 9:50 PM and had a rather disappointing experience. They had two separate dining areas — we opted for the basement section. To our surprise, before even being allowed to sit, we were asked to place our order while standing at the counter and make full payment upfront. This felt unwelcoming, and honestly, we weren’t sure if it was a lack of trust or just their system — either way, it left a bad first impression.
After paying, we were told we could go sit downstairs. Barely five minutes later, around 9:55 PM, a staff member came and informed us that the basement service ends at 10 PM, and we’d have to move to the ground floor after that. This made no sense, especially since they allowed us to go down just moments earlier. Since we’d already paid, we felt stuck — it was too late to walk out.
The overall service was far from satisfactory. Honestly, even a railway canteen might offer better customer experience. The food was average at best — nothing special to redeem the poor service.
This was a one-time visit, and definitely the last. I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting basic courtesy or a pleasant dining experience. Zero marks for...
