A Hidden Gem in Alappuzha !
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sea Shore Restaurant in Alappuzha, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! This charming eatery, nestled near the picturesque beach, serves up delicious seafood and warm hospitality.
The standout dish for me was the Fish Thali- an absolute must-try! The authenticity and flavorfulness of kerala cuisine alongwith acommpanying sides, including the tangy pickles complemented it beautifully. The portion was generous, and the price was incredibly reasonable.
What truly sets Sea Shore Restaurant apart, however, is the exceptional service. Proprietor and his welcoming family run the show with warmth and enthusiasm. They made me feel like part of the family, taking the time to explain the menu, offering recommendations, and sharing stories about the local cuisine.
The ambiance is cozy and rustic, with beautiful views of the sea. The cleanliness and attention to detail are evident throughout the restaurant.
If you're in Alappuzha, do yourself a favor and head to Sea Shore Restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

Read moreThe Place is Run by a family of 4, the Husband I don't remember his name but the wife name I'll remember (Safina) she was so sweet while our entire 3 days stay there. they have 2 options for Rooms (AC & Non-AC) You can get Bunk Beds if you are friends and all or separate ones. There is Ground floor and a 1st Floor, none of the rooms are a sea facing you get windows which show just a teensy bit of sea. But there is this DECK where everyone eats, West Side the Sea, East is your Rooms, South is the Kitchen & North is the endless lines of other Restaurants. You have many options to eat outside as this place is packed with cheap but very good cafes and restaurants in 1-2Km radius. such as CATAMARAN Café, it's just 200m away from this place, You can walk around at 2AM without the fear of getting your phone snatched or anything, If you are dining in, you have to let them know what you will be having an hour before so that they have enough time to prepare it and serve you hot. Overall It's Friendly experience. Only Drawback was this that they didn't give any Carpet so it was very sandy all over in the room, we had to sacrifice on our clothes & use that as a Rug. But other than that, they were very nice with their hospitality, if you go to...
Read moreI see a lot of bad reviews due to people saying long wait times at this restaurant. The chefs start preparing food early in the morning and serve dinner around 3:00-4:00pm. So don't come before 3:30 if you don't want to wait. I just want to say that it's normal for a restaurant to only serve dinner after a certain time. If you arrive early, then you will have to wait. Ask for the special order for the day and prepare to be impressed by the time and detail of preparation and the large portions of food. I love the cooking class here. She's the real thing and she uses so much coconut, beetroot, cabbage, and fresh vegetable in her cooking. The fish thali lives in my imagination forever. You can hear the ocean from your plate. I really like this place,...
