Secret Spices Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

Food was average. Dissatisfied with the services offered. Starting with the help with seating we requested a table for 8 and left to decide on our own with no assistance from the staff. Due to covid there was curfew from 10pm. We reached the restaurant at 8pm and the first sentence they told us was the restaurant will close at 9pm. Seemed like they were not interested to have customers. We asked for a menu and were not offered one. Services were rushed. We expect better quality of service from such a restaurant. Superb hotel with a great ambience. It is a very clean hotel with good interior decoration. The crockery and table etiquettes are very well maintained. The staff are courteous and taking all covid related precautions. There is a bar below the hotel which is open till 5pm. Another hotel called Dreamland is located in the same building with staying facilities. The food was delicious and spices and oil just as required. Food was not tasty at all unlike the reviews put up by others, what was really bad was the service. The employees don't acknowledge that you are a patron coming for having a lunch or anything. They just ignore and mind their own business. In fact you need to call them and tell them what you need to eat. You need to wait more than 15-20 min for a cup of tea, that explains the type of service. If that improves alongwith the taste of the food, I would recommend it. For now it's...
