Which goes very well with the ‘Appam’, ‘Parotta’ and of don’t want those have it with ‘Chapathi’ or Bread, which you can have from the bakery. The Chilly chicken has great pieces with a mouth watering gravy, rich with ginger garlic and ketchup. The beef dishes are definitely a plus for the hotel, with the taste being that of one from Grandmas kitchen. The Chicken curry has a rich gravy which goes well with almost anything. Service :: Excellent staff most of the time. The variety you can notice is that you have staff in uniform with the majority being females, giving it the magic touch. They get things ready so soon, in most cases.

Location :: Located at one of the major junctions of the area. Still having a pay and park gives them an edge above other restaurants nearby.

Don't get cheated by purchasing white forest cakes from "THOMSON BAKERY"Adoor, near Maria Hospital.They are selling normal cream cakes as white forest. Last Monday(14-09-2015) I bought 1kg of white forest cake from this bakery and got cheated.I have a long term relationship with this bakery and used to visit almost all their outlets in and around Adoor, Thiruvella and Mannar. Two weeks back i bought 5 pieces of white forest and was satisfied with its nice taste. So I decided to celebrate my 1st wedding anniversary by cutting White Forest Cake. But by giving replica of white forest, Thomson Bakers cheated me and spoiled my party. The cake is dry and seems like normal cake with layers and cream. I informed and messaged this to the owner of Thomson Bakery and waited for two days but no action has taken place. While calling him he alwyas cut the phone and send me the mesage "I'm Driving". I think for the last two days he is continuously driving and this forced me to post this message and get informed my friends and relatives to not get cheated by purchasing white/black forest cakes from "THOMSON Bakers".If you buy small slices you may get white forest but as a whole 1 kg or above you may not..

Note: Credit/debit Card is not accepted in bakery(Adoor) even their own hotel in the same building have it, so ensure your pocket is filled with cash before going to buy replicas of white/black forest, otherwise you should roam around the town another half an hour to find an atm and a suitable space to park...

Disappointing Onam Sadhya Experience – Miscommunication Ruined Our Celebration

I had placed an order for two Onam Sadhya meals on September 12th at the Mannar branch of Thomson Bakery. The staff assured us that there was no need to book in advance and simply asked us to come on the 15th at 12:00 PM to collect the meals. To be make sure, I personally visited the Mannar branch to reconfirm the order, only to receive the same response – no need to book, just come and collect. However, when we called today, September 15th, to confirm, we were told that only those who had pre-booked the Sadhya would receive their orders as it was being packed and sent from the Kadapra branch. This was never communicated to us at any point! Upon contacting the Kadapra branch, we were informed that it has always been a pre-booking system with advance payment for Onam Sadhya. This blatant miscommunication has completely ruined what was meant to be a joyous celebration with our family. We were looking forward to enjoying the Onam meal together, but the poor coordination between the branches led to immense disappointment. This experience has caused us to lose trust and faith in Thomson Bakery.
