"I'm so glad I discovered VINTAGE PANJABI DHABS gem for vegetarian Punjabi food, and was transported to north from south with their authentic and mouth-watering dishes. As a JAIN vegetarian, it's often challenging to find authentic and flavorful options, but this restaurant truly delivers. The palak paneer was creamy and rich, with tender paneer and fresh spinach. The dal makhani was a highlight - perfectly cooked lentils in a velvety tomato-based sauce. What impressed me most was the variety of options for JAIN FOOD - from classic veggie dishes like chana masala and saag aloo to innovative creations like stuffed bell peppers and paneer tikka masala. Every dish was expertly prepared and presented with love. The service was warm and attentive, with staff happy to recommend dishes and accommodate special requests. The food was fantastic, made with care and love, and served in a classic setting. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, reflecting the true essence of the North Indian culture. We had thali and pakoda there and must say that the amount is more than sufficient for 2 persons and all items of the thali like rice, roti, daal and veggies made with the right amount of ingredients. The staff were wonderful, providing us with impeccable service, and making sure we had everything we needed. All in all, we were delighted with the experience. We highly recommend this friendly dhaba to anyone looking for a North Indian culinary experience. Overall ratings:- 1. Food- 10/10 2. Service & Behaviour- 10/10 3. Ambience- 10/10 4. Price- 10/10 5. Naan for my wife coz that’s only Indian dish she like at the moment but all the time there is not at all enough cheese spread on the naan forget about XTRA. No complaints but just suggestion to owner that if you don’t have enough resources better not sell it.(in our case CHEESE 🧀).About the picture I had to eat all non cheese part which was most of the part in Naan and at the end decided to write coz third time same thing but couldn’t take it at the end coz when I pay for xtra cheese,it was less than yesterday xtra cheese naan.Even after explaining and paying xtra. Disappointed.

Visited dhaba when we came to Kovalam to had dinner first of all the ambiance is good with greens and their service is also good 🥰 we had butter aloo Paratha, onion Paratha, garlic naan and curry we had tikka paneer butter masala and hot garlic chilly Gobi coming to the breads onion Paratha and butter aloo was soft and the stuffing masala was good and it tastes well and garlic naan was crispy texture and slightly burned but it tastes good and also we had juices and shakes from there overall we had a pleasant experience 🥰🥰

Try only South Indian food here which will be value for money. Got disappointed of ordering Aloo Paratha where they kept poori masala as stuffing in Aloo Paratha giving a fusion of North Indian food tasting south Indian. For this it is better to go for South Indian cuisine here. The name of the restaurant is decieving,it should be south indian. Nice location and ambience. Food prices is bit costly but they load you with quantity for the price you pay. Service was good and fast.
