This place is a desert rose. You will get delicious and yummy food with good quantity for very less price. This restaurant does not advertise much but is a must try restaurant if you visit Kovalam. This is a family run business and the lady chef cooks home style food with proper blend of masalas and spices. Their food is authentic north Indian style. They do not serve south indian style of delicacies. They even serve some north Indian dishes of the menu of your choice. Their service is also very fast and any vegetable you order here is fresh. There is no hotel style gravy but it is so damn tasty. Anyone wants to take a break from daily south Indian food should try this restaurant. Their seating is normal and can accomodate 25-30 people easily. It is having plain walls interior just like home. If you preorder the owner can get your wish item also. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Patiyala Punjabi Dhaba and wanted to express my appreciation for the exceptional Veg and Chicken Biryani offerings. The Veg Biryani was a delightful medley of aromatic rice and fresh vegetables, perfectly seasoned to create a symphony of flavors. The distinct spices used elevated the dish to a memorable culinary experience.

Equally commendable was the Chicken Biryani, which showcased tender chicken pieces infused with rich spices, creating a savory and satisfying blend. The succulent chicken combined seamlessly with the fragrant basmati rice, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds.

The portions were generous, and the attentive service added to the overall dining pleasure. I would highly recommend the Veg and Chicken Biryani at Patiyala...

Used to be regular customer via Swiggy. Thought of calling in directly for home delivery and instead of letting know the customer straight away the unavailability of the same, they expect the customer to sit and wait during lunch time for their call back. On calling again, extremely rude way of talking only to let know no one is there, which they could have easily let know during first call itself. Again emphasizing the rude way of responding to enquires.

No point in opening a restaurant if you don't know to deal/talk to customer properly. Never ordering...
