Chaplin — Restaurant in Kolkata

I'm a foodie and, from Roadside Dhaba to 5-Star Hotel, I've eaten everywhere. Food at Chaplin is just fabulous. Better than most other "Big and Famous" places I've eaten at. Most items are really very tasty and delicious. If you are diet/health conscious, then the foods are decently healthy and light, and you could consume them with ease. Space is a little less inside the restaurant, but who cares ? You don't go to a restaurant to play football right ! So what matters most is the quality of food, and Chaplin is great at it. The ambience will make you feel like a bed room with dim lights on. A cozy place to have a tight sleep with AC on. The food is worst. The smelly chilli fish had pieces like small nuggets. Also, the service? They will serve the Swiggy, delivery orders first and keep you sit and wait no matter how much early you arrive in the resturant or the delivery executives arrive. This place is very close to our heart as I and my Significant Other had our 1st dinner date here almost 9 years agi since now. Within this nine years this place has turned a bit off colour but its charm and food quality remained the same. We had chicken soup and egg gravy chowmein.
