Nirvana Bistro — Restaurant in Kolkata

I have a couple of very nice experiences at Nirvana.

During the initial days, I checked it out online and I ventured with a couple of my friends. The food was amazing. Especially the food portion size and the way they were served - hot and smoking! We had ordered - chicken hot and sour soup, chili fish balls, and pepper chicken - and both were cooked to perfection! I felt that I was eating at an authentic Chinese restaurant- and the hosts were super-warm!

Next, I ordered delivery of green chili chicken, mixed fried rice, schezwan chicken, and crispy chili babycorn for a dinner party at home. The portion sizes,tastes,etc. were terrific! We absolutely loved how the chicken had a spicy twist and this made me gobble up my food faster!

Had fried chicken momo for starters. I happened to chew upon a grain of stone in the food which ruined my mood. Must've come with the cashews it was garnished with. The momo tasted good.

Then ordered Egg Fried Rice with a Hunan chicken Gravy. It was good in taste and they made it less spicy as per our need.

The staff was maybe not expecting us there. Later we had to keep asking for additional plates and spoons as there were 2 of us eating, and 2 plates and a single spoon was not enough. In restaurants of comparable price range, we are also served food as an additional good gesture. I'm sure the service could've...

As we celebrate there new year.. Ambience was so so good. Decor was good. A little cozy restaurant, little sitting arrangement there. But i don't like there service very slow... Take long time served food orther wise it's good..
