Ratan Biriyani Ceter is by far serving one of the best street side biriyani you can have. The Biriyani is super tasteful and is a value for money.

For 160rs, you get a huge size portion of biriyani rice, a tasty juicy mutton accompanied with the mandatory aloo and egg. Their hallmark is the gravy they serve along with the Biriyani, which is tasty and enhances the biriyani flavour. A single biriyani portion is enough for an average person.

The street side setup can question a few people as you have to sit on the roadside chairs and stools but you cant complain about this in a street food joint.

The food was average and overpriced. They are charging 120 bucks for chicken biryani which is as per my opinion overpriced as the quality they are providing is as per the other Street biryani which are normally priced at 90 bucks on an average for chicken biryani. The quantity was also bit on the lower side and they are charging 10 bucks for extra potato which is again too much for the quality they are providing. It is worth trying once in a while for a sudden change of taste. Excellent biriyani centre which is basically a roadside open to sky stall located at Ranikuthi 3 point road crossing of Tollygunge area at South Calcutta, and outside the boundary wall of "Ranikuthi Telephone Exchange" Govt . Building. The food quality of biriyani is very superb. I am seeing this roadside stall since many years but first time when I tried both their Chicken Egg biriyani ( Rs 130 per packet as on Nov'23) and Egg Biriyani (Rs 80 per packet as on Nov'23) at home for my family after buying from this shop, I liked their taste very much.
