Wow! China — Restaurant in Kolkata

I went and gave my order. after giving my order i realised that I can pay through Zomato so I requested the cashier (Abhijit) to change my payment mode as zomato but he refused to accept that and told me that as already the bill has been printed so they cannot change that. I asked him to call the manager and he said that he is the manager then it became clear to me that he didn't want to call the manager and for that he is giving excuses.

Now I am coming about the main Part i.e. Food. I have ordered one chicken hot and sour soup and one chilly fish fry. The soup was very spicy and filled with cabbage only. hardly any chicken pieces were there. and in chili fish though it tastes good but only 6 small pieces were there. the quality and quantity of the food is below average compared to the price they are charging.

after we have completed the server has handed over a satisfaction survey form. I have rated it as per my experience over there. After i left the restaurant I clearly saw that the said Abhijit was slanging me about the rating that I have given. as I have written against him that's why he chose to give slang. Totally disappointed with the service. Not at all recommended. Avoid wow china, instead go for more standard restaurant for chinese preparation. Quantity and quality do not justify the price. They charge you 280/- for chilli chicken excluding GST , packing charges, delivery fee and will give 6 small balls of chicken in return. They don't even mention that how many pieces of chicken will be there in their menu in Wow Eats (in-house) app. As far as chicken noodle i concerned, the vegetables are entirely in raw stage with small quantity of chicken without eggs and the price of the chicken noodle is 270/- excluding GST, Packaging Charges and delivery fee. So it can be clearly understood that the prices of the items are on the premium side and after paying this premium price you will get the worst food.

I ordered through Swiggy. I had the hot garlic chicken and noodles thali and chilli chicken-chicken fried rice combo meal. The thali has kimchi, cheese chicken spring roll, crispy honey chilli potatoes, noodles and hot garlic chicken. The spring roll is splendid and has cheese filled in it. The kimchi is decent. The crispy potatoes are amazing too. I was pleasantly surprised that they were crispy even in a delivery service where food cooked and sent takes time to reach. The hot garlic chicken is good. The noodles were disappointing and had a local street side feel, taste and smell to it. The chilli chicken bowl was a bit of a let down. Fried rice was very basic and overcooked. The portion size is really good and enough for a person. However, there is cornflour and corn starch added in the chicken pieces and gravy. I might reorder only for their starters. Overall, the...
