Sorry, this particular outlet isn't the CCD we know. I'm not saying anything regarding the edible stuff. They're good, certainly. But maybe I went to this place on a wrong day and time when I found some heated exchange of words kept going for a considerable period of time at the food counter. There was a lady shouting at some person/s there and Voila! After a while she switched to the other side of the desk when, to my utter amazement, I found that she's not any unhappy customer, but one of the insiders who run the shop. Did she do any good to the shop by what she had been doing there? Also I'd like to say that the floor plan of the shop is, well, nothing but bizarre. You enter into an air-conditioned space and then you find a non air-conditioned one at the back of it. Maybe it makes business logic to offer a CCD experience at a cheaper rate, but usually it happens on the front-end, at some well-ventilated area. That non-AC space looks more like a claustrophobic backyard. And it's actually backyard since it's just beside the warehouse of the shop. You can see the materials stacked in racks at a place considerably darker than the hang-out zone. For any customer, AC or non-AC, it's not any pleasant sight to look at. While I was sitting, the staff asked me to scan a barcode to download their app. When I went up to the counter to place my order, the staff member actually told me not to try the iced latte because it was just "water" and suggested I try something else. I was surprised and uncomfortable with his suggestion, as it felt unprofessional.
To make matters worse, he insisted on downloading the app to place my order, which spoiled the mood for me. I politely declined, and he seemed unhappy with that decision. Eventually, I ordered a Café Frappe with Ice Cream instead of the iced latte, and both drinks were actually delicious. However, the behavior of the staff member made the experience unpleasant.
When it came time to pay, he informed me that online payments were not working and that I had to pay by cash. To top it off, he gave me a number to send the money to, which felt unprofessional and awkward.
While the food and drinks were good, the staff's behavior and lack of professionalism left a negative impact. Cafe Coffee Day, please monitor your staff for better service and customer...

Pathetic service. The cheapest products are always not available and they tend to put excessive and unnecessary add-ons without asking the customer (extra ice cream.. extra this and that- My actual bill was ₹400, which ended up ₹635 at their hands...
