Gurudev Family Dinning Bar — Restaurant in Kulgaon Badlapur

Greetings,

I normally don’t review or give any negative feedback about any restaurants. However, I wish to share the incident happened with me due to arrogant behaviour of Prashant Shetty ( seems to be owner) of Gurudev Restaurants located at Katrap Badlapur East.

I have ordered for vegetarian meal and the food was delivered at home.. As we were ready to have the meal, we realised that all food was containing chicken !!!!

I have repacked the food as it is and took the parcel to restaurant.. firstly I asked for the person who took the order and went to the counter ..to my surprise the person who was taking the order was fully drunk and was taking takeaway order.. I showed my disappointment to the owner about the incident .. however owner seems to be careless by himself and was acting as if nothing happened and instead of being apologetic .. he behaved arrogantly .. and claims that this things happens sometime.. we have to let it go !!!

I felt the best way to let it go is to share and post the incident at social site , so the eater at this restaurant will be...

Food quality has deteriorated over a period of time. The Restaurant lacked a variety in menu. I ordered Paneer Sathè which was served with a Peanut basted sauce which was overly sweet. You can probably skip this one. On the non veg appetizer I ordered CHICKEN TIKKA which was moist and tender but was undercooked and bland for some pieces. On the main course was Paneer Tarabi (semi-thick) gravy, was pretty much Bland and lacked Salt at an extreme extent. I wish I could say I was satisfied with the Ambiance (dim lights and grill smoke was filling the room on the whole.) On the overall a Basic and Par Average Satisfaction. It is good place to eat and relax. But it has its downsides.

And as much as I enjoy some of the dishes. It seem like every time I order the prices keep increasing.

For example: Butter chicken used to cost something around 350 and now it is around 450. These are approximate numbers. I would have been okay with the price because I understand how inflation affects everything but the taste has also changed. Butter chicken which is supposed to be a little sweet, tastes a lot sour now. And they have also reduced the quantity. If you are going to increase prices at least don't mess with the quantity.

All I'm saying is bring back the previous...
