D-adda houses a restaurant, a hotel (called Relax Residency), and a roof top terrace not too far from Badlapur railway station (west). Being right on the main road, it is easy to find. The place is very popular hence autorickshaw drivers know of it. The hotel is situated on the third floor. The reception along with the rooms are housed on a single floor. There are about 8 to 10 rooms out of which some are economy and some standard rooms. The rooms are nice and cozy and like any Mumbai hotel, a little compact. All rooms are double occupancy (but the beds are wide enough to accommodate one extra person). The rooms and bathroom are upto the standards of modern urban hotel fitted with AC, water heater, ambient lighting and intercom. However the economy rooms do not have a fridge or a kettle (I don't know about the other rooms). Each room has a french window so ample sunlight is available. But being located within a suburban area, there's no view to have had. The maintenance and cleanliness is good. The upholstery, bed linens and the towels were decent. But room service might be a little poor because this is not a big hotel. The front desk staff were courteous. One of the issue is we were asked to pay our bills at the time of check-in which I found a little weird. We were advised to book the hotel online as the online price was little less than on-sight booking price. But the breakfast prices are exhorbitant. A good option is to just walk out and have a good meal from the road side stalls for almost one-tenth the price. Due to its location it has many shops and eateries nearby. Overall it was nice and enjoyable stay. D-adda restaurant is located on the ground floor of this building. It has a nice assortment of veg and non-veg food from multiple cuisines. It also has a well stocked bar. The prices here are a little on the higher side but the ambience and staff are really nice. This restaurant is very popular with locals who visit here with their families. The food is appreciation-worthy both for its taste and quality. However the quantity is a little less for the price. Each portion would be just enough for two frugal eaters. Overall it was a...

Hence, I thought it would be unfair if I don’t share the same with you all. I had my engagement there on 26th Nov. We had been planning for the event since Jan this year but finally decided in Nov after reviewing 5-6 wedding halls/banquets. And trust me friends, D-Adda is the best one in whole Badlapur.
The owner : Mr. Jatin is really warm, professional & at the same time a true businessman. He very well knows how and whom to deliver the best.
The staff : For the entire 5 hours of the event, we had one Manager Mr. Navin dedicated to us. He made sure that each and every single thing was taken care with minute details and without a say.
The ambience : It was really a wonderful ambience and since it was an evening event, it added more to it.
The decoration : Mr. Viraj & Mr. Jai had promised that what we are paying will be less than what we would be practically getting. This is what exactly happened. They both are truly genius in their work.
The hospitality : WE had our guests stayed in the accommodations there and I must say that they were nicely taken care.
The event management : The whole event of around 50 people was managed so well that we received around 25-30 calls from our guests with praises all around.
The food : People often say that the food is really expensive in D-Adda, but I must say, its worth the quality. All our guests made an exit from the venue only after praising the food. It was awesome. Overall, I must say it was an overwhelming experience and we all look forward to visiting the restaurant again...
Read moreVisited D-ADDA with family for the first time last week. Bollywood Retro themed fine dinning family restaurant and bar. Good selection of prerecorded retro bollywood music played to set the mood. They serve a wide range of Cocktails and Mocktails. We ordered prawn crispy and chicken pahadi kebab for starters which was yum and mouth watering. Also the quantity served was good enough for us. If you visit this place you should try out this concoction mocktail called Burning Lips...it is was a guava based drink with a tangy flavor, pretty smooth to sip on while having your starters. I was a bit surprised to see Thai curry on their menu which is not available in many of the fine dinning restaurants around here. Hence I ordered a Thai curry in green masala with prawns and a steam rice. I was a bit apprehensive if the chef would prepare it as per standard recipe and I was really surprised that the Thai curry was prepared to the 'T'.....Kudos to the chef who made it. Very well prepared and tasted really delicious. I'd say if I visit D-ADDA again it would be to have my favorite Thai curry 😋😋....We also order prawn fried rice which was well done to. However our disappointment was the Sizzling Brownie for dessert. The brownie was more like a mava cake piece...where we expected something like a smooth chocolate lava cake texture and taste but it wasn't so. However our dinning experience was good right from the entrance to the service. Once again a special mention and thanks to the chef that prepared my Thai curry...I really appreciate and enjoyed it. So overall great food and service, with lovely ambience. Good enough parking area for...
