From Authentic to Awful: A Disappointing Experience at Chang's Legacy

I have been a loyal customer of Chang's legacy, an authentic Chinese restaurant, for several years. However, my recent visit left me utterly disappointed and compelled me to share my experience. It is disheartening to witness a once-great establishment deteriorate in terms of service, food quality, and taste.

Let's start with the service, which was nothing short of abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked basic courtesy. Our orders were taken with indifference, and it took an eternity for our food to arrive. The waitstaff appeared overwhelmed and inattentive, paying little attention to our needs. It was evident that customer satisfaction was no longer a priority for them.

Moving on to the food, it was a far cry from the delectable dishes I had enjoyed in the past. The once-flavorful and authentic flavors were replaced with bland and uninspiring alternatives. The dishes lacked the finesse and attention to detail that had previously set this restaurant apart. It was evident that shortcuts were being taken in the kitchen, compromising the quality of the food.

Moreover, the taste of the dishes was underwhelming, leaving me questioning whether the chef had changed or if the ingredients used were of inferior quality. The flavors were muted, and the dishes lacked the vibrant and harmonious blend of spices and seasonings that I had come to expect from this establishment. It was a stark contrast to the memorable culinary experiences I had enjoyed in the past.

To make matters worse, the prices remained exorbitant despite the significant decline in quality. It felt like a slap in the face to pay a premium for a subpar dining experience. The value for money was non-existent, leaving me feeling disheartened.

In conclusion, my recent visit to Chang's Legacy was a complete letdown. The decline in service, food quality, and taste was evident, and it pains me to witness the downfall of a once-beloved establishment. I sincerely hope that the management takes immediate action to rectify these issues and restore the restaurant to its former glory. Until then, I cannot recommend Chang's to anyone seeking an authentic Chinese...

My new review: I recently visited this place lockdown and was excited beacuse this place have never disappointed me, but all my excitement got into vain after visiting this time. The only thing I liked about was there soup they were ok and the rest other food was not. Not worth what is used to be. Old review: The location of the place is perfect. It is present at one of the busiest road of the town. There you will face a problem of parking but that's fine. When you enter this place, the place has a different kind of vibe. This place has a classy ambiance. They have a wide variety of menu. You have many options to choose. They have bought the authenticity of the food to this place. They don't play with flavors, that the best part. There staff is very nice and service is also good. Only one problem with chopsuey you will face that if you order it will all the food the crisp of the noodles is tend to go, so just remember this thing. This place is must a go. Bounty of decadence & bomb cuisine, Chang's Legacy is perched on a class pedestal of absolutely brilliant food, modern Indo-asian fusion selection of dim sum, wok fried noodles and their speciality gravies!

The service is super slow and mediocre, but it's the food that'll have you swooning & eating from the palm of your hands.

While every other place in Indore is doing (or is trying to do) Indo-chinese / Asian cuisine, only some manage to stand out in terms of innovation in this space & Chang's Legacy's chef has that field covered & HOW!

From seafood in really tangy sauces to piquant dimsums, brilliant chicken offerings (oh yeah baby) to silver lined wanton & perfumed aromatic Garlic-infused drums of heaven... I am obviously salivating as I recall.

Cannot wait to go back to pretty much devour the whole menu.

An absolute 8/10 experience (subtracting the slow service away).

I would recommend visiting, if you're a Chinese food buff like me!...
