Firangi Cafe and Bar — Restaurant in Madhya Pradesh

Recently visited Firangi Cafebar with a group of friends, and it definitely offers a mixed experience.

The absolute highlight of our visit was the atmosphere. The ambiance is genuinely nice, creating a comfortable and stylish setting perfect for hanging out. What really took it to the next level was the music specically the DJ was fantastic.

The selection and mixing were spoton, contributing massively to a lively and enjoyable vibe throughout the evening. Its clear they have put effort into making this a great place to soak in good tunes and energy.

When it came to the food and drinks, however, things were a bit inconsistent. We tried a few items like

The Paneer Tikka was quite good flavorful, well cooked, and definitely a satisfying choice.

Unfortunately, the pizza was a letdown. While the toppings might have been okay, the crust was noticeably overcooked and far too crunchy, which significantly detracted from the enjoyment. It felt more brittle than pleasantly crisp.

The cold coffee, while tasting okayish, seemed very low in quantity for the price charged had more fuss then actual coffee. It felt like poor value for money compared to similar offerings elsewhere.

Overall, firangi excels in creating a fantastic environment with its pleasing ambiance and absolutely stellar DJ setup. Its a place you want to like and spend time in.

If they could bring the consistency and quality of their food, particularly addressing issues like the overcooked pizza crust, and perhaps offer better value with drink portions, this spot could easily transform from just okay food wise to an excellent, highly recommended cafe bar.

We visited on the night of September 10th after calling the number listed on Google. They informed us that we could place orders until 11:30 PM, which would be the last order. Based on this information, we decided to visit. However, when we arrived, the server at the desk initially tried to deny us entry. Thankfully, we had already called and informed them of our visit. The server's name was Rakesh.

It felt as though they did not want us to come in. When we noticed an attractive offer at the entrance, we were directed to check in through the club door to take advantage of it.

Rakesh was responsible for taking care of our table. When we started giving our orders for the main course and starters, he began denying them, stating that any order taking more than 15 minutes would not be served as the restaurant was about to close. We ended up spending money on food we didn't want, such as Manchurian, which is commonly available at dhabas.

After that, we ordered beers instead of Ultra and asked for options. He suggested different names, and we chose among them. Later, when we asked for the check, I was shocked to see a bill of 3500 where the last three beers were charged at 1100 for two beers pint. When I asked for clarification of the bill, he said that beers are not included in the offers and stepped back in front of my friends, confirming this with the order.

He is mean. Sales skills should be good but should not involve deceiving people at the time of billing.

One of the worst managed and unwelcoming cafe of Indore. Right from the reception we felt like this people are not trained to serve people at restaurant. The bouncer is as rude as they come and should be at some roadside dhaba instead of a cafe. At reception we were told that we can place order till 11:15 but on reaching to the table we were informed that 10:50 is the last while we reached at 10:40. When we were ordering the waiter was taking lot of time to place the order while still reminding us that this is the first and last order. And when we told the waiter about the slow and pathetic service so instead of explaining me or apologising he asked me to write any bad review about him or restaurant as they don’t care. The bar snacks we orders was okay but the jamacain passion LIIT was abysmal, they should understand the serving LIIT in tube like social won’t make their drink good, instead they should invest in a good bartender. So all in all if you want to pay for a cafe and get dhaba like service or even worse then that you can visit this place. P.S.: There service and behaviour will even become more hostile and bad when you’ll tell them that you’ll pay using Dineout or Zomato.
